The Eclipse of the Luminaries é uma colisão frontal: a frieza mecânica da fúria industrial se chocando contra o calor do lamento judaico.

Likuy Meorot (The Eclipse of the Luminaries) releases the single “Sinking” (Shoke’aa), their newest metal rock work, featuring an immersive conceptual narrative about the collapse of discovering you are autistic in late adulthood—suddenly you are drowning.

Lior didn't know he was autistic until he was 27, and for years nobody, not even him, understood what was happening. Inside, it's the flood rising until there's no air left, the world extinguished, the pulse slowing. This song is that descent. Since then, he has been creating feverishly, writing mainly to avoid going insane. Working at night, taking advantage of his insomnia, sitting in the dark at the dinner table while the children sleep, struggling with machines. Lior writes and rewrites, fights against the Suno algorithm until it understands his fury.

The Eclipse of the Luminaries is a head-on collision: the mechanical coldness of industrial fury clashing with the warmth of Jewish lament. Strident industrial guitars and digital glitches crush Middle Eastern violins in tears. It's a worldwide sensation: Democracy is dying.

“Sinking” carries the fury within metal, in a minimalist introduction with vocals, with riffs that enter cinematically. Soon, guitar riffs ignite and captivate the metal lover, with guttural vocals delivering a scream, incorporating pain in each verse, making us feel the emotions surge through our veins. The music brings that visceral scream, creating a vibrant and explosive atmosphere that is vibrant in every section.

“Sinking” presents a tapestry where metal is the central figure in the melody, with electronic landscapes, bringing frenetic movements, full of adrenaline, sung in Hebrew, escaping the monotony of conventional English. We feel an implacable atmosphere as if we were in a mud pit struggling to get out, and then it starts to rain and the hole fills with water, in a metaphorical fight for survival. With a dark side that puts us in a perspective of self-reflection.

“Sinking” is cathartic, with a chorus that stirs us, making us jump and sing along. The music is powerful, with changes in rhythms, use of synthesizers in the transitions, and beats that generate intensity in a sound construction that tears us apart inside. With epic guttural vocals, we are transported to other eras on a journey through melodic metal that brings a medieval atmosphere at times; it's a cinematic sound that strongly communicates with listeners who are on the verge of collapse.
