Sergiy Bolotny releases new single "Little Dutch Rhapsody No. 1," his third work released this year. Behind "Little Dutch Rhapsody No. 1" lies a fun story: the beloved folk tradition of the farmer who travels with only one shoe.

Instead of treating this traditional song as a museum piece, Sergiy Bolotny reinvented it through progressive variations and neo-romantic writing for solo violin. The work captures the humor, resilience, and rhythmic vigor of the original story, while demanding the full technical and acoustic range of the violin.
