Jocy’s Pipe lança novo EP "Ceci n’est pas" sendo o mais novo trabalho lançado pela banda. Antes, havia sido lançado singles que fazem parte do trabalho.

A Jocy’s Pipe é uma banda de rock alternativo de Morelia, México. Formada em 2020, o principal objetivo da banda sempre foi simples: fazer a melhor música possível e compartilhá-la com o mundo. A banda é formada por Larry, Jack, Richard, Chompi e Bitrix, cinco músicos unidos pela paixão pelo rock e pelo desejo de criar algo original.

Para começar, tem a primeira faixa "Tanto Amor" que mostra uma sonoridade sólida, muito bem trabalhada e com uma introdução que cativa. Com um estilo indie rock, suave, riffs atemporais que lembram os anos 70, a canção tem uma elegância que encanta os amantes de rock. A faixa acumula energia, cantada no espanhol, começa em uma jornada multi cultural, fugindo do mainstream do inglês, isso é fascinante.

"Modernos Prisioneros" é a segunda canção e chega com tudo, é aquela faixa que incendeia os ouvintes, sentimos o rock and roll fluir em nossas veias, com a ironia da liberdade batendo em nosso rosto através desse som que faz a gente querer romper as amarras e correntes modernas que nos deixam presos, essa faixa faz a gente querer sair em um final de semana, ligar o carro, acelerar, o som do rádio alto com essa canção e ir rumo ao desconhecido, se desconectar. Com o som do órgão, vamos em uma jornada pelos anos 70, criando uma atmosfera enérgica que faz jorrar adrenalina em nossas veias, com uma narrativa poderosa.

"It's All Over" tem uma sonoridade mais reggae, um rock que traz uma vibe mais de praia, com transições que são desconcertantes, a canção tem uma construção sólida, o vocal traz um timbre mais introspectivo, que harmoniza com o instrumental que nos faz ficar hipnotizados nessa construção. É quando chega na metade do EP e o som tem uma diferenciada que mostra a versatilidade do trabalho.

"Chaoms" chega com muita força, com riffs de guitara intenso, cheio de nuance, é um som que rompe as barreiras pois tem um vocal que traz versos que são tão rápidos como em um hip hop, com toda a energia do rock and roll, som do órgão, linhas de guitarra que são desconcertantes e transcendentais, nos levando em uma euforia que rasga a gente por dentro.

"Darkalma" é a quinta faixa, chega com uma sonoridade mais suave, riffs de guitarra que são crescentes, um refrão que gruda em nossa mente e então cantamos juntos. De repente, entram batidas e traz um instrumental mais consistente. A faixa tem vocais introspectivos e depois vai crescendo, com backing vocal ao fundo criando um arranjo mais transcendental.

Sem mais spoilers, tem a última canção "DIGGIN' GRAVES", que finaliza o EP em alto nível com toda a energia que faz pulsar os ouvintes. Jocy’s Pipe releases new EP "Ceci n’est pas," their latest work. Previously, they had released singles that are part of the project.

Jocy’s Pipe is an alternative rock band from Morelia, Mexico. Formed in 2020, the band's main objective has always been simple: to make the best music possible and share it with the world. The band consists of Larry, Jack, Richard, Chompi, and Bitrix, five musicians united by their passion for rock and the desire to create something original.

To begin, there's the first track, "Tanto Amor," which showcases a solid, well-crafted sound with a captivating introduction. With a smooth indie rock style and timeless riffs reminiscent of the 70s, the song has an elegance that enchants rock lovers. The track, sung in Spanish, is full of energy and begins with a multicultural journey, escaping the mainstream of English, which is fascinating.

"Modernos Prisioneros" is the second song and it comes in strong, it's the kind of track that ignites listeners, we feel the rock and roll flowing through our veins, with the irony of freedom hitting our faces through this sound that makes us want to break free from the modern shackles and chains that keep us trapped. This track makes us want to go out on a weekend, start the car, accelerate, turn the radio up loud with this song and head towards the unknown, to disconnect. With the sound of the organ, we go on a journey through the 70s, creating an energetic atmosphere that makes adrenaline surge through our veins, with a powerful narrative.

"It's All Over" has a more reggae sound, a rock that brings a more beachy vibe, with disconcerting transitions. The song has a solid construction, the vocals bring a more introspective timbre, which harmonizes with the instrumental that leaves us hypnotized in this construction. It's when we reach the middle of the EP and the sound has a differentiating factor that shows the versatility of the work.

"Chaoms" arrives with great force, with intense guitar riffs full of nuance. It's a sound that breaks barriers because it has vocals that deliver verses as fast as hip hop, with all the energy of rock and roll, organ sounds, disconcerting and transcendental guitar lines, taking us into a euphoria that tears us apart inside.

"Darkalma" is the fifth track, arriving with a softer sound, crescendoing guitar riffs, a chorus that sticks in our minds and then we sing along. Suddenly, beats enter and brings a more consistent instrumental. The track has introspective vocals and then grows, with backing vocals in the background creating a more transcendental arrangement.
