Michael Lyon releases new single "The Guy Who Won" being the second work released this year. Previously, the singles "Tug Of War" and last year "Family Tree" had been released. The new work brings folk rock with an American-style country feel, a song that wins us over with its simplicity, its infectious guitar chords and a vocal that sings in a duet, with backing vocals in the background, we are taken into a rhythm soft interior that is brilliant. "The Guy Who Won" arrives in a climate full of serenity, in a crucial year for the USA, which is about to choose the next president in the midst of a chaotic external environment full of problems such as wars, Russia, China and the Middle East. As if the external problems were not enough, there are also internal problems, with 2 candidates with ideas that do not fully represent this nation in this climate of national revenge for a side that is known as a bad loser. Which side to be on? "The Guy Who Won" aims despite all this, to stay on a more moderate side that appears to be committed to democracy, the side that won last time. In this folk that's fun to listen to, it's contemporary and current lyrics, which even make fun of you when you say that you're with the guy who really won, a song with a lot of good humor and historical facts printed on a cover with a statue of the founding fathers.
