Andy Smythe lança novo single "Leaves To Burn" sendo o segundo trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Out Of My Mind" nesse ano e "Prodigal Son" no ano passado.
Nesse novo trabalho, Andy Smythe nos leva em um rock clássico com elementos do brit pop com órgão ao fundo, em uma faixa que é como se estivéssemos indo de forma teatral para uma área rural, somos levados para conhecer um pouco da rotina em uma comunidade agrícola e todo o sofrimento que tem ali com a questão de um trabalho pesado debaixo de sol forte ou debaixo de uma tempestade. Quem tem avós que passaram por isso consegue se familiarizar com a canção "Leaves To Burn" ao lembrar de histórias já ouvidas. Isso é incrível.
"Leaves To Burn" nos leva em uma pegada que poderia lembrar Beatles, Paul McCartney, com o rock clássico e o soft rock nos contagiando, é uma experiência que temos ao ter as batidas agitadas que nos leva aos antigos bailes para dançar, riffs de guitarra que são gostosos de ouvir, órgão ao fundo para dar uma tapeçaria a faixa e o vocal sólido e que nos marca por dentro ao contar um pouco de sua própria infância ao trabalhar na área rural no Reino Unido.
