"Stay (Reimagined)" transforms ten years of live evolution into a new recording, with warm synthesizers inspired by the 80s, new drums, added sections, and a guitar solo surrounding an intimate and vulnerable vocal.
Originally released in 2016, "Stay" has almost 1.4 million plays on Spotify and continues to be a fan favorite and a constant presence in ST. NIKLAS's live shows. Written about a farewell at the airport that unexpectedly became the last, the song focuses on a simple wish: one more day. With over 3 million plays on Spotify and over 1,000 plays on international radio, the project has won over listeners far beyond Norway. The 2025 debut album, "habits of a complex mind," transformed this composition into a full-length album, accompanied by a national tour. On stage, the songs continued to evolve, with live arrangements becoming part of the songwriting process itself.
