Antes, havia sido lançado "Baby Girl (Likes to lie)" e "Watch Me Win It".

Queen Anne releases authentic and personality-filled folk in "Greyhound." Previously, they had released "Baby Girl (Likes to Lie)" and "Watch Me Win It."

The track represents Queen Anne's most vulnerable work to date. The incisive and provocative single explores the painful experience of searching for someone at a party who has forgotten your presence, a reflection on loving someone you don't respect. Silverman's lyrics take on an unexpectedly playful tone with the greyhound metaphor, marveling at the contradiction of a dog that can run 72 kilometers per hour but remains calm and affectionate.

Queen Anne is an American indie-pop duo formed by singer-songwriter Katie Silverman and writer/producer Sandy Chila. Their music blends the exuberant melodiousness of 80s pop with a sharp postmodern edge, resulting in darkly ethereal and insidiously catchy songs.

Known for her roles in New Girl, PEN15, High Potential, and the film The Exorcists, Silverman brings her creative force to the musical realm with Queen Anne.

"Greyhound" begins with an upbeat guitar melody, already full of action and rhythmic beats that are prominent in the transitions. It's a song that we can say starts strong, making our hearts race. The vocals deliver a pop-rock timbre with fast-paced verses, singing in a contemporary style, driving the song as it pleases; we go along without offering any resistance.

"Greyhound" has a cinematic sound, a country atmosphere that transports the listener or connects them with more retro influences, in a chorus made for letting loose with vibrant rock influences. It's a track that makes us feel the emotions flowing with each verse, and makes us want to sing along in the pre-chorus in an epic transition.

"Greyhound" is about falling in love with someone you don't respect, a delicate situation portrayed in this track with a retro country feel, a bluesy reinterpretation, something more Western, with a cinematic vibe that creates a unique and very well-executed atmosphere. It's a sound that has one foot in the past and a modern touch, a timeless folk anthem with rock elements. Queen Anne is certainly one of the great duos that has emerged strongly in recent times with powerful work.
