Eli Wise lança novo EP "Ghosts and Logic" com 3 faixas sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "The Curve of Chaos" e "Charting Stars".

Eli Wise é um compositor, músico e multi-instrumentista da região da Baía de São Francisco que captura a maravilha existencial da vida cotidiana em suas canções. Após quase uma década afastado da música para se dedicar à sua carreira acadêmica e à criação de dois filhos, Wise retorna com força total com um novo EP.

O novo EP nos convida a deixar de lado os fantasmas do passado e parar de tentar forçar a lógica em nossos cérebros. Em vez disso, estejamos presentes no momento atual, abracemos as transições e encaremos o dia sendo nós mesmos, com nossos erros e tudo.

"Ghosts and Logic" inicia com a canção "Everyone Goes Through Something Like This, But That Doesn't Help" é uma canção que tem um tom pessoal, soa como um diário em sua letra, onde os ouvintes se sentem familiarizados com a narrativa, somos incluídos no "Eu pessoal" na letra e narrativa, soa como se estivéssemos conversando frente a frente com Eli. A canção em termos sonoros tem muita leveza, é tocada no violão, batida mais discretas que agitam levemente, com de piano que deixa tudo mais elegante, é uma canção que faz a gente cantar juntos.

"I Had to Choose" traz uma sonoridade agitada, divertida, inocente em seu toque, cinemático no refrão com uma pegada atemporal que faz a gente se sentir nos anos 80, lembra algo de The Shins aqui, é uma faixa suave, podemos imaginar na praia, sentados debaixo da árvore enquanto o mar sopra o vento em nosso rosto. A canção traz a ideia de escolhas em bsuca de identidade.

Eli Wise is a composer, musician, and multi-instrumentalist from the San Francisco Bay Area who captures the existential wonder of everyday life in his songs. After nearly a decade away from music to dedicate himself to his academic career and raising two children, Wise returns in full force with a new EP.

The new EP invites us to let go of the ghosts of the past and stop trying to force logic into our brains. Instead, let's be present in the moment, embrace the transitions, and face the day being ourselves, with our mistakes and all.

"Ghosts and Logic" begins with the song "Everyone Goes Through Something Like This, But That Doesn't Help," a song with a personal tone, sounding like a diary entry in its lyrics.
