De Los Angeles para o mundo: A brasileira Monique Maion lança "Karen" em jazz alucinante

Monique Maion lança o single "Karen" sendo o mais novo trabalho da artista.

Esta é sua história como ser humano, isso inclui batalha contra a epilepsia, a experiência de quase morte, vícios, luto, a luta da imigração, traições e a superação para alcançar uma existência simples.

Diretamente de Pirituba, SP, para o mundo, agora vivendo em Los Angeles, Monique Maion é cantora e produtora brasileira. Canta há mais de vinte anos e trabalhou com supervisão musical, publicidade e trilhas sonoras. Também trabalhou como gerente de abrigo para moradores de rua, babá e apresentadora de rádio. Hoje é professora de música em tempo integral e este novo lançamento é um projeto independente que levou mais de 10 anos para ser concluído. Com muita história e bagagem, já ficamos ansiosos pelo álbum dela que será lançado em 13 de novembro, já salva a data.

"Karen" tem uma melodia contagiante, trazendo aspectos da cultura brasileira, som das pessoas ao fundo na introdução e ver tudo isso sendo exportado para o mundo já nos enche de orgulho nesse início, que tem batidas dançantes de um ritmo mais samba, solo de guitarra trazendo o rock no jazz e essa mescla de elementos mostra uma qualidade sonora muito bem construída.

"Karen" traz o psicodélico em um world song, que tem influências funk com um groove que flui em nosso corpo suavemente. Monique então entra na canção, cantada em português, com um timbre poderoso, que se altera conforme ela quer, trazendo backing vocal ao fundo que combina muito bem com a melodia. O vocal de Monique traz ainda trechos que ela rasga a voz, canta solta, leve, sem se preocupar, apenas nos leva em uma experiência imersiva por dentro desse ambiente que todo brasileiro ama.

"Karen" é crescente, expansiva, vai ganhando intensidade, e traz o som psicodélico que é difícil de achar, é difícil de ouvir nas produções brasileiras, e Monique teve coragem e atitude quando traz esses traços na melodia e em sua voz, criando um ambiente autêntico e desafiador, principalmente quando se repete o refrão. Monique Maion releases the single "Karen," her newest work.

This is her story as a human being, including her battle against epilepsy, a near-death experience, addictions, grief, the struggle of immigration, betrayals, and overcoming obstacles to achieve a simple existence.

Directly from Pirituba, SP, to the world, now living in Los Angeles, Monique Maion is a Brazilian singer and producer. She has been singing for over twenty years and has worked in music supervision, advertising, and soundtracks. She has also worked as a homeless shelter manager, a nanny, and a radio presenter. Today she is a full-time music teacher, and this new release is an independent project that took over 10 years to complete. With so much history and experience, we are already looking forward to her album, which will be released on November 13th – save the date!

"Karen" has a contagious melody, bringing aspects of Brazilian culture, the sound of people in the background during the introduction, and seeing all of this being exported to the world already fills us with pride in this beginning, which has danceable beats with a more samba rhythm, a guitar solo bringing rock to jazz, and this mix of elements shows a very well-constructed sound quality.

"Karen" brings psychedelia to a world song, which has funk influences with a groove that flows smoothly through our bodies. Monique then enters the song, singing in Portuguese, with a powerful timbre that changes as she wishes, bringing backing vocals in the background that combine very well with the melody. Monique's vocals also include sections where she lets her voice soar, singing freely, lightly, without worrying, simply taking us on an immersive experience within this environment that every Brazilian loves.

"Karen" is a growing, expansive track that gains intensity and features a psychedelic sound that's hard to find in Brazilian productions. Monique showed courage and attitude in incorporating these elements into the melody and her voice, creating a modern and challenging atmosphere, especially during the repeated chorus.
