OTA3D3 retorna com seu novo e poderoso EP de rock instrumental "The Roar". Antes, havia sido lançado o single "REFLEXION (2025 Remix)". O novo EP chega com 4 faixas que nos levam em um trabalho onde cada faixa representa uma parte de um todo, é como uma peça em uma engrenagem, cada faixa nos leva a plenitude do trabalho e isso nos deixa extremamente ansiosos para ouvir.
Nesse trabalho, sentimos uma aula magistral de narrativa musical guiada pela guitarra, uma mistura de riffs eletrizantes com paisagens sonoras sofisticadas e atmosféricas. Este é um rock cru e visceral, feito para quem busca precisão técnica e profundidade emocional sem a necessidade de letras.
O EP inicia com a primeira faixa "MEMENTO MORI (Storm)" tem uma introdução que nos deixa fixados na faixa, com uma linha de cordas e o arranjo ao fundo que traz um clima cheio de mistério. Logo, entram linha de guitarra que são desconcertantes, as batidas trazem um som crescente, é uma faixa que faz a gente flutuar entre o que é do mundo visível e pensamos de repente podemos morrer em algum momento. A canção nos faz lembrar da era de ouro do rock brasileiro com o Cazuza em alguns trechos, talvez a maior lenda do rock no Brasil. O que impressiona nessa canção são as transições que mudam o ritmo, um verdadeiro hino instrumental que nos desconcerta com um ritmo acelerado que assume.
"THE ROAR" tem batidas fortes, com linhas de guitarra que são eletrizantes, um rock and roll cheio de vibração, uma nuance que quebra o estilo da música anterior, com uma energia que incendeia os ouvintes. É como um rúgido, uma força brutal que rompe e somos levados para longe em um dedilhado fenomenenal que nos atinge em cheio, é poderoso e cria uma atmosfera única, uma experiência transcendental, são ondas sonoras que mostram o poder do rock e seu rugido.
"SELF-ABSORTION" a terceira faixa, a estrutura sonora fica mais suave, saímos de uma brutalidade sonora e vamos para um momento mais transcendental, leve, crescente, uma faixa que provoca a meditação, absorvemos os impactos, a gente amadurece aqui, conseguimos desoconectar de tudo ao redor, vamos em uma jornada cósmica.
"BE ONE" inicia com uma sonoridade ainda desconhecida, com efeitos especiais modernos, um som etéreo ao fundo, sons eletro que nos envolvem e as batidas trazem o um ambiente que vai agitando, a linha de guitarra cresce e então expandimos em um rock que corre em nossas veias. Um final para o EP, a última peça desse sistema, do encaixe, é aqui que tudo se resolve, os questionamentos, um rugido, o amadurecimento e então a plenitude da quietude. Um som poderoso pela forma que a guitarra desenvolve.

OTA3D3 returns with the powerful new instrumental rock EP, "The Roar." Previously, he released the single "REFLEXION (2025 Remix)." The new EP features four tracks, each representing a part of a whole, like a piece in a machine. Each track leads to the fullness of the work, leaving us extremely eager to listen.
In this work, we experience a masterclass in musical narrative guided by the guitar, a mix of electrifying riffs with sophisticated and atmospheric soundscapes. This is raw and visceral rock, made for those seeking technical precision and emotional depth without the need for lyrics.
The EP begins with the first track, "MEMENTO MORI (Storm)," which has an introduction that captivates us, with a string line and background arrangement that creates an atmosphere full of mystery. Then, the guitar lines that are disconcerting come in, the beats bring a growing sound; it's a track that makes us float between the visible world and suddenly think we could die at some point. The song reminds us of the golden age of Brazilian rock with Cazuza in some parts, perhaps the greatest rock legend in Brazil. What impresses in this song are the transitions that change the rhythm, a true instrumental anthem that disconcerts us with an accelerated rhythm that takes over.
"THE ROAR" has strong beats, with electrifying guitar lines, a rock and roll full of vibration, a nuance that breaks the style of the previous song, with an energy that ignites the listeners. It's like a roar, a brutal force that breaks through and we are carried away in a phenomenal fingerpicking that hits us full force, it's powerful and creates a unique atmosphere, a transcendental experience, sound waves that show the power of rock and its roar.
"SELF-ABSORPTION," the third track, has a softer sonic structure. We move from sonic brutality to a more transcendental, light, and crescendoing moment—a track that evokes meditation. We absorb the impacts, we mature here, we manage to disconnect from everything around us, we embark on a cosmic journey.
"BE ONE" begins with a still unfamiliar sound, with modern special effects, an ethereal background sound, enveloping electro sounds, and beats that create an increasingly agitated atmosphere. The guitar line grows, and then we expand into a rock that runs through our veins. An ending to the EP, the last piece of this system, of the fitting together, it's here that everything is resolved: the questions, a roar, the maturation, and then the fullness of stillness. A powerful sound due to the way the guitar develops.
