 Every Other Weekend acaba de nos dar seu maravilhoso novo álbum, um trabalho poderoso que chama nossa atenção em um folk rock envolvente que nos faz refletir e que tem um refrão delicioso que nos da vontade de cantar junto, uma música que toca nosso coração.

Every Other Weekend é o projeto musical de Chris Bull, ex-vocalista da banda indie de Manchester, City Reign. Após a morte de seu pai e mentor musical em 2015, o fim da banda em 2016 e seu casamento no ano seguinte, sua relação com a composição musical entrou em colapso, tão intimamente ligada a memórias agora dolorosas.

O álbum de estreia do Every Other Weekend, All Present and Inept, com lançamento previsto para 2026, é o culminar de um longo processo de redescoberta da paixão por compor, gravar e lançar música. Memories é o segundo single lançado dessa coleção de canções. Uma música bastante intimista que traz muito sobre o artista e a entrega dele faz com que a gente se entregue a canção também, é uma faixa deliciosa que nos cativa com su ternura e com sua letra.

Ela nos faz mergulhar em nossas sensações, e nos encontramos com nossas próprias memórias, pe uma faixa que com sua doçura instrumental nos faz querer nos deixar levar, e ela nos leva longe, para dentro do nosso coração, deixamos de lado tudo de nossa rotina caótica e acelerada, para desacelerar e reviver memórias que dizem muito sobre quem somos.

Essa faixa tem um instrumental leve, refrescante e que mistura de forma brilhante o rock acústico com a música americana, é um rock folk muito bem eleborado e bem tocado, que traz vocais sinceros e cheios de vida, uma faixa que é um verdadeiro convite para a gente ter um momento para nós mesmos, nos deixando curtir nossas memórias.

Every Other Weekend has just given us their wonderful new album, a powerful work that captures our attention with its engaging folk-rock sound that makes us reflect and has a delightful chorus that makes us want to sing along – music that touches our hearts.

Every Other Weekend is the musical project of Chris Bull, former vocalist of the Manchester indie band City Reign. After the death of his father and musical mentor in 2015, the end of the band in 2016, and his marriage the following year, his relationship with songwriting collapsed, so intimately linked to now painful memories.

Every Other Weekend's debut album, *All Present and Inept*, scheduled for release in 2026, is the culmination of a long process of rediscovering his passion for composing, recording, and releasing music. "Memories" is the second single released from this collection of songs. A very intimate song that reveals much about the artist, and his delivery makes us surrender to the song as well; it's a delightful track that captivates us with its tenderness and lyrics. This track, with its sweet instrumental, makes us want to let go, and it takes us far away, deep into our hearts. We leave behind everything from our chaotic and fast-paced routine to slow down and relive memories that say so much about who we are.
