Ryan McDavid releases new single "Runaway (Late Night Reverb)," his latest work released last year. Previously, he had released the singles "Runaway" and "I Don't Care."
Within the indie scene of Georgetown, Guyana, Ryan is creating a unique space for atmospheric rock in the Caribbean. This "Late Night Reverb" edition of "Runaway" is a slow-motion warning to someone you love too much, a haunting plea for that person to save themselves from the darkness you carry. The artist is leading indie rock and shoegaze to a region where these sounds are heard: Guyana.
"Runaway (Late Night Reverb)" begins with an intriguing sound, taking us on a nostalgic wave, with a mysterious and dark synthesizer, something reminiscent of the 80s.
