Naomi Neva lança novo single "This Is Over" sendo o terceiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o single "Burning" e o EP "Ernestine".
Naomi Neva é uma artista de indie rock de Oakland, Califórnia, cuja música canaliza a raiva feminina, a nostalgia e todo o espectro da experiência humana. Ela compõe músicas desde a infância, começando com covers de Indigo Girls e Ani DiFranco antes de formar uma banda punk com suas irmãs.
O novo single "This Is Over" é um hino visceral sobre términos de relacionamento, com guitarras distorcidas, vocais crus e um refrão catártico. A canção foi escrita em uma viagem para casa, voltando de Berlim, onde a artista estava em um momento delicado entre lágrimas, mágoas e um casal oferecendo lanche para ela.
"This Is Over" nos conquista logo no início com a sonoridade marcante, sons de guitarra nos colocam dentro da música, Naomi com seu vocal nos cativa, como se estivesse acumulando energia, sentimos a canção crescer. "This Is Over" traz um ambiente completamente poderoso, cheio de energia, onde tem aquela onda catártica que vem da guitarra vibrante com o som das batidas que são estrondosas. Naomi entrega tudo de si em um rock que traz algo punk e rock de garagem. A faixa traz aquela raiva que vem de dentro da gente e conseguimos expelir tudo isso soltando a voz nesse refrão contagiante.

Naomi Neva releases new single "This Is Over," her third release this year. Previously, she released the single "Burning" and the EP "Ernestine."
Naomi Neva is an indie rock artist from Oakland, California, whose music channels female anger, nostalgia, and the full spectrum of human experience. She has been composing music since childhood, starting with covers of Indigo Girls and Ani DiFranco before forming a punk band with her sisters.
The new single "This Is Over" is a visceral anthem about breakups, featuring distorted guitars, raw vocals, and a cathartic chorus. The song was written on a trip home from Berlin, where the artist was going through a delicate moment amidst tears, heartache, and a couple offering her snacks.
"This Is Over" captivates us right from the start with its striking sound; the guitar sounds draw us into the music. Naomi's vocals are enchanting, as if she's building up energy, and we feel the song building. In this opening, we can feel a nostalgia from the 2000s, the era when we grew up listening to rock that defines our identity and easily connects with people.
Moving into the chorus, we feel an explosion that sends adrenaline through our veins, makes us jump, the guitar ignites completely, and suddenly we're singing along. The combination of sonic elements electrifies us and ignites us from within.
