Soft Hearted Scientists lança novo single "Wonder Girl" sendo o quarto trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o álbum "Tha Phantom of Canton" e o single "Hello Hello".
Soft Hearted Scientists é uma banda de Cardiff que pode ser vagamente descrita como psicodélica, no sentido de que cria um som tecnicolor usando uma enorme variedade de instrumentos e efeitos sonoros, sejam guitarras ou teclados vintage. A ideia é transportar o ouvinte para um lugar melhor, seja em um single de 3 minutos cheio de ação ou em um épico de 10 minutos com várias seções. Soft Hearted Scientists is a Cardiff-based band that can loosely be described as psychedelic, creating a technicolor sound using a wide variety of instruments and sound effects, from vintage guitars to keyboards. The idea is to transport the listener to a better place, whether in an action-packed 3-minute single or a 10-minute epic with multiple sections. The new album is captivating, with half the hooks of an album, Motown and surf guitars, heavenly choruses, a sudden mood shift in the middle section, and all of it echoes off the walls with energy.
"Wonder Girl" begins with a sound that envelops us, something like a piano strum or a guitar string. The song's beats kick in, and we're swept away by a classic rock nuance with pop influences, something that flows beautifully with Brit pop. The vocals lead us into their more solid, introspective style, which carries the track into vocal serenity, while the instrumental takes us on psychedelic waves.
