Este lançamento representa um marco significativo na jornada musical da dupla, que adota métodos mais tradicionais, como sintetizadores de hardware, guitarra e baixo, além de suas vozes naturais, sem afinação ou codificação pesadas. Gravado, mixado e masterizado no Audio Alchemy Studios, o processo de gravação foi verdadeiramente único, com a dupla utilizando sequenciamento MIDI para conduzir uma orquestra eletrônica e refinar sons que ressoam com sua frequência, mantendo-se fiéis à essência da faixa original.

"Obsession" inicia com beats que mexem nosso corpo, som de sintetizador que nos leva diretamente aos anos 80, com muita energia, de forma eufórica, rapidamente entramos no ritmo da faixa e deixamos fluir em nosso corpo. A vocal entra na canção, despojada e o vocal masculino ao fundo como backing vocal. A canção alterna nas vozes, nos eletrizando.

"Obsession" traz a aventura de uma noite de sexta feira, saindo em busca de discotecas, danceterias e na linguagem mais popular as baladas. Lücid Lovers releases new single "Obsession," their first release this year. Lücid Lovers released their cover single "Obsession," a track that pays homage to the original composition by Holly Knight and Michael Des Barres, masterfully performed by Animotion.

This release represents a significant milestone in the duo's musical journey, adopting more traditional methods, such as hardware synthesizers, guitar, and bass, as well as their natural vocals, without heavy tuning or encoding. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Audio Alchemy Studios, the recording process was truly unique, with the duo using MIDI sequencing to conduct an electronic orchestra and refine sounds that resonate with their frequency, while remaining faithful to the essence of the original track.

"Obsession" opens with body-moving beats, synthesizer sounds that transport us straight to the '80s. High-energy, euphoric sounds quickly get into the rhythm of the track and let it flow through our bodies. The vocals enter the song, stripped down, with the male vocals in the background as backing vocals. The song alternates between voices, electrifying us.

"Obsession" brings us the adventure of a Friday night, heading out to discos, dance clubs, and, in more popular terms, clubs.
