John cresceu nas colinas de Morgantown, WV, e queria compor uma música dedicada ao seu amor pelas montanhas e ao amor por sua esposa, Lide. Esta música country alternativa conta com Lucas Sherman (Palestina Ocidental) no violino e Cole Parker (WV) na bateria.

"Skipping Stones" is a song about falling in love nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia (WV). It brings influences from the Appalachian musical tradition, but has a modern and indie touch. John grew up in the hills of Morgantown, WV, and wanted to write a song dedicated to his love for the mountains and his love for his wife, Lide. This alternative country song features Lucas Sherman (West Palestine) on violin and Cole Parker (WV) on drums.
