Bones in Butter lança novo álbum 'Cosmopolis' com 13 faixas sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o álbum 'Songs for A Sane Society' no ano passado.
'Cosmopolis' nos leva em uma experiência sonora única e atemporal, fazendo nossa mente flutuar entre o dream pop e o art rock, com influências do punk e até folk.
O novo álbum inicia com a faixa 'You Just Drowned', que tem uma introdução narrada, como se fosse contar uma história. Iniciando a melodia, entra riffs de guitarra suaves e desconcertantes que lembram o blues e o soul, um coral ao fundo, é maravilhosa essa suavidade. O vocalista nos cativa com um timbre sólido, sério, fazendo a gente mergulhar na canção em um refrão que soa como um hino atemporal. A música ainda nos surpreende com uma mudança de ritmo que fica folk psicodélico.
A segunda canção 'Dumped' tem riffs retro, indo dos anos 70 aos anos 90. As batidas dançantes são geniais, nos levando a uma balada do rock clássico com todo o frescor atual. Aqui sentimos algo que lembra Pixies e Iggy Pop. O solo de guitarra é arrebatador.
'They All Shine For You' é a quinta faixa tem uma introdução misteriosa, que faz a gente navegar em um ambiente disperso e escuro, até encontrar a melodia e o vocal que entra, como se encontrássemos a luz nessa introdução. Bones in Butter faz com que essa obra de arte tenha as impressões de David Bowie e Pink Floyd em uma parceria fictícia. Tem violão, sintetizador, arranjos mais dark ao fundo, a suavidade do vocalista, um universo sonoro diferencial.
'Transform' é bem psicodélica, um art rock que tem algo pop e disco, uma balada rock que faria a galera dançar em uma discoteca, ainda mais com um remix. Sentimos aqui uma experiência animada e contagiante, com riffs de guitarra bem eletrizantes.
A nona faixa 'Know Nothing' tem um rock clássico psicodélico, uma canção cheia de mistérios em seu arranjo, uma jornada que faz a gente ir para longe. De repente após a metade da faixa entram riffs constantes que fazem a gente entrar na canção, é uma faixa forte com uma performance alucinante.
'Going To Cosmopolis' é a décima segunda faixa, a penúltima, tem um rock forte, batidas agitadas e riffs de guitarra que nos leva aos anos 80 com o punk e o new wave juntos. Uma canção que ouvir na estrada a noite, em uma viagem pelo interior é uma aventura que faz a gente sentir as vibrações da canção e seus efeitos no arranjo. O vocal sólido e marcante é inesquecível.
O álbum 'Cosmopolis' é uma genialidade de Bones in Butter. Eles mudaram um pouco a sonoridade do dark pop rock europeu, indo agora com um lado mais psicodélico com o rock clássico, claro, com influências ainda pop em suas canções. Um trabalho forte que mostra como eles sempre estão em busca de novos sons e novos hits.

Bones in Butter releases new album 'Cosmopolis' with 13 tracks, the first work released this year. Previously, the album 'Songs for A Sane Society' had already been released last year.
'Cosmopolis' takes us on a unique and timeless sound experience, making our mind float between dream pop and art rock, with influences from punk and even folk.
The new album begins with the track 'You Just Drowned', which has a narrated introduction, as if telling a story. Starting the melody, between soft and disconcerting guitar riffs reminiscent of blues and soul, a choir in the background, this special is wonderful. The vocalist captivates us with a solid, serious timbre, immersing us in the song with a chorus that sounds like a timeless anthem. The song still surprises us with a change of rhythm that becomes psychedelic folk.
The second song 'Dumped' has retro riffs, going from the 70s to the 90s. The dance beats are brilliant, taking us to a classic rock ballad with all the current freshness. Here we feel something reminiscent of Pixies and Iggy Pop. The guitar solo is breathtaking.
'They All Shine For You' is the fifth track with a mysterious introduction, which makes us navigate a scattered and dark environment, until we find the melody and the vocal that enters, as if we found the light in this introduction. Bones in Butter makes this work of art feature David Bowie and Pink Floyd in a fictitious partnership. There's guitar, synthesizer, darker arrangements in the background, the vocalist's specialty, a different sound universe.
'Transform' is very psychedelic, an art rock that has something pop and disco, a rock ballad that would make people dance in a club, even more so with a remix. We feel a lively and contagious experience here, with very electrifying guitar riffs.
The ninth track 'Know Nothing' has classic psychedelic rock, a song full of mysteries in its arrangements, a journey that takes us far away. Suddenly, after halfway through the track, two constant riffs make us get into the song, it's a strong track with a mind-blowing performance.
'Going To Cosmopolis' is the twelfth track, the penultimate, it has strong rock, agitated beats and guitar riffs that take us to the 80s with punk and new wave together. A song you hear on the road at night, on a trip through the countryside is an adventure that makes you feel the vibrations of the song and its effects on the arrangement. The solid and striking vocal is unforgettable.
The album 'Cosmopolis' is Bones in Butter's genius. They changed the sound of dark European pop rock a little, now going with a more psychedelic side with classic rock, of course, with still pop influences in their songs. A strong work that shows how they are always looking for new children and new successes.
