ELDR lança novo single "Deer Skin" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o EP "Höly Stranger" em 2022, o qual foi tão bem aclamado e elogiado pela crítica.
ELDR é uma maquinação da artista e premiada compositora de filmes Marina Elderton. Recebedora do fundo PRS Women Make Music e bolsista da National Film & Television School, Elderton compôs trilhas sonoras premiadas para empresas como BBC, Sky Arts, BFI e Film4, incluindo a trilha sonora de Poly Styrene: I AM A CLICHÉ, que ganhou 'Melhor Documentário' nos British Independent Film Awards e no 'Raindance Discovery Award', além de ter sido nomeado para um BAFTA escocês.
O novo trabalho chega com uma atmosfera mais sombria e completamente cativante, fluindo muito bem entre o art pop e o indie pop, com uma sonoridade que vai crescendo com fortes batidas e uma voz delicada e maravilhoa de ELDR que traz um tom mais agudo em seu início.
"Deer Skin" tem uma melodia que nos conecta fortemente na música, fazendo a gente imergir em sua letra e temática. O vídeoclipe que tem nessa faixa tem uma arte visual impactante, com danças contemporâneas trazendo uma performance teatral que é atraente, como diz na música.

ELDR releases new single "Deer Skin" being the first work released this year. Previously, the EP "Höly Stranger" had been released in 2022, which was so well acclaimed and praised by critics.
ELDR is the machination of artist and award-winning film composer Marina Elderton. A recipient of the PRS Women Make Music Fund and fellow of the National Film & Television School, Elderton has composed award-winning soundtracks for the likes of the BBC, Sky Arts, BFI and Film4, including the soundtrack to Poly Styrene: I AM A CLICHÉ, which won 'Best Documentary' at the British Independent Film Awards and the 'Raaindance Discovery Award', as well as being nominated for a Scottish BAFTA.
The new work arrives with a darker and completely captivating atmosphere, flowing very well between art pop and indie pop, with a sound that grows with strong beats and a delicate and wonderful voice from ELDR that brings a higher tone in its start.
"Deer Skin" has a melody that connects us strongly to the song, immersing us in its lyrics and themes. The music video for this track has striking visual art, with contemporary dances bringing a theatrical performance that is attractive, as the song says.
ELDR conquers us in this new solid and authentic work, which makes our mind float away in this softness between the melody and the vocal, causing a vibrant harmony and tune.
