Mike and Mandy release new single 'Caught The Bug', the last work released in 2023. Previously, they had released the single 'Timeworn'.
Couple Mike and Mandy show how mixing love and professionalism can work really well. They met at a Shakespeare play, fell in love, hit the road and got married after 3 years. Mike is more focused on punk rock, also a reggae keyboardist, jazz, funk drummer. Mandy grew up and sang in the Orchestra Children's Chorus and fell in love with rock and roll, jazz and country. This mix between the two shows the influence on their careers, proving that the biggest mistake is to be stuck in a single genre.
The new work takes us on a journey at the beginning with a vocal that has autotune, 'Caught The Bug' has a more dark trip hop feel at the beginning, with engaging beats. Soon, afterwards, the track has some transitions that electrify us, becoming more agitated and the synthesizer in the background is brilliant. Rock and roll makes us vibrate with guitar riffs that make us explode inside.
Mandy's vocals are fascinating, performative, she knows how to take the music where she wants, with a loose, stripped-down instrumental, always looking to surprise us, we are taken with a spectacular energy, in a dark pop rock chorus that makes us want to sing together.
