9 O'Clock Nasty está de volta com o novo single "Crowland" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles 'Unkle Natur' e 'Culture War 23'.
O novo trabalho traz uma faixa que flerta com uma ficção não muito longe da realidade. O mundo está se tornando um lugar que parecia ir para a liberdade, porém tem desviado desses caminhos e então talvez possa virar um grande reality show com o controle social, violência, xenofobia e patriotismo que distancia as pessoas uma das outras. Ted disse recentemente: “Dois anos atrás, escrevemos músicas que as pessoas achavam que eram piadas estranhas e desviadas. Agora, o mundo real é muito mais estranho do que qualquer coisa que possamos inventar".
9 O'clock Nasty tem crescido a cada lançamento, não abrem mão de sua autenticidade, de seu poder de composição, com faixas que são ao estilo punk rock, apostando em violência musical, com um som de bater a testa na parede no ritmo do locutor. Se você cantar alto o suficiente, não ouvirá as vozes tristes, é essa a ideia de 'Crowland'.
'Crowland' é um som poderoso, marcante pelas batidas que são intensas, o vocal que é underground, como se fosse um protesto, com backing vocal que canta aos finais dos versos. Impressiona o estilo eletro que elels colocaram na canção, com um post punk anos 90 que é cheio de fúria, raiva na guitarra que incendeia nossos corações, efeitos sonoros que são meio dark, como se fossem um controle por meio do som.
'Crowland' em seu video clipe mostra imagens de grupos clássicos, de um boneco ventríloco, algo que mostra como um controle social vindo desses grupos, uma realidade que parece ser distópica, mas que cada vez mais tem se intensificando. O som irreverente de 9 O'clock Nasty está poderoso, afiado como uma espada como diz na letra de 'Crowland', uma faixa que pensa fora da caixinha, que mostra no final vozes tristes que parecem ser de crianças, a sensação que nada volta a ser como antes. 9 O'Clock Nasty is back with the new single "Crowland" being the first work released this year. Previously, the singles 'Unkle Natur' and 'Culture War 23' had been released.
The new work brings a track that flirts with a fiction not far from reality. The world is becoming a place that seemed to be heading towards freedom, but has deviated from those paths and so perhaps it could become a great reality show with social control, violence, xenophobia and patriotism that distances people from each other. Ted recently said: “Two years ago we wrote songs that people thought were weird, deviant jokes. Now, the real world is much stranger than anything we can invent."
9 O'clock Nasty has grown with each release, they do not give up their authenticity, their compositional power, with tracks that are in the punk rock style, betting on musical violence, with a sound that hits your forehead against the wall to the rhythm of announcer. If you sing loud enough you won't hear the sad voices, that's the idea of 'Crowland'.
'Crowland' is a powerful sound, notable for its intense beats, the vocals that are underground, as if it were a protest, with a backing vocal that sings at the end of the verses. The electro style that they put into the song is impressive, with a 90s post punk that is full of fury, anger on the guitar that sets our hearts on fire, sound effects that are kind of dark, as if they were a control through sound.
'Crowland' in its video clip shows images of classic groups, of a ventriloquist dummy, something that shows social control coming from these groups, a reality that seems to be dystopian, but that is increasingly intensifying. The irreverent sound of 9 O'clock Nasty is powerful, sharp as a sword as stated in the lyrics of 'Crowland', a track that thinks outside the box, which shows at the end sad voices that seem to be from children, the feeling that nothing comes back to be like before.
