Love Is The Question Lança novo EP "SOJOURN" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.

Is The Question, do Maine.

Love Is The Question releases new EP "SOJOURN," their first release this year. Featuring three tracks, the EP boasts a melancholic sound, blending traditional American folk elements with a touch of pop—a well-executed collision of different universes and genres.

Produced with a minimalist and melancholic intensity, "Sojourn" is the impactful new EP of alternative rock covers from the Maine-based duo Love Is The Question. With a slow and deliberate rhythm, the tracks mix expansive slide guitar in the style of Paris, Texas with haunting vocals inspired by Kate Bush. The release features raw and cinematic reinterpretations of Neil Young's "Down by the River," Elvis Costello's "I Want You," and a closing cover of U2's "Love Is Blindness," bearing the personal seal of approval from legendary producer Steve Lillywhite.

To begin, there's the first track, "Down By The River," a reinterpretation of Neil Young's song, which arrives with a new tapestry. While Neil Young brings classic rock, in this track from *Love is The Question* we feel a softer, mesmerizing sound with slow guitar chords. The vocals have a velvety timbre that makes the listener feel like they're floating. We close our eyes and go on a journey to feel that transcendental freedom. It's light; we levitate on chords that evoke the Shoegaze or dream pop experience.

"I Want You" is a cover of Elvis Costello's song. This reinterpretation brings more life through the piano, where a vocalist delivers a delicate timbre, with verses marked by sighs between them, creating a variation that enriches and elevates the sonic atmosphere in a construction that presents pop within classicism. It's a track for a night when we're thinking about someone, in a narrative where Elvis Costello exposes and shows his soul in the song.

"Love is Blindness" is a cover of U2's song, dug deep into the archives of their famous 90s album "Achtung Baby," offering a darker take on a musical journey with vocals that disconnect the listener from the original, immersive experience. It features a touch of country-tinged, old-west style guitar in a more somber way. It's a strong and powerful song about love.
