Franc Cinelli has just released a delightful and powerful folk album, a sensational work that connects us to our acoustic origins. One song after another makes us feel completely enveloped and light; this album is very good.

Folk Kitchen is Franc Cinelli's new album with nine original songs rooted in folk, blues, and Americana. Written and recorded over two weeks, I established a simple rule: one guitar per song, with guitar and vocals recorded together whenever possible.

Fingerstyle acoustic guitar, resonator slide, and intimate performances are at the heart of the album, transitioning between minimalist acoustic compositions and more atmospheric moments. The album explores memory, change, resilience, and the search for a path to follow.

The first song comes in strong, showing what the album is all about: voice and guitar in a wonderful song that makes us feel connected to the album from its very first moments. This song is simply delightful, light, and full of intensity, showing us exactly what the album will be like. The vocals manage to bring authenticity and a lot of expression to the track, keeping us involved from beginning to end. It's a song that grabs our attention and makes us want to listen to the whole album, to delve deeper into the work.

Mudlarking is the second song. It arrives with a wonderful guitar, with riffs that captivate us and hold us captive. This track is catchy; it's the kind you want to sing along to. Its chorus is a catchy tune that sticks in your mind, and the first time you hear it, you're already singing along. It's a song that has presence, that makes us happy to listen to. We feel inspired by the story told in the music. It's simply a wonderful track.

"Starting Over" is the third song, a track with a lot of presence and delivery from the artist. It's an intimate song that shows the power of starting over, of always rising up, of getting back on our feet and continuing to fight. This track is an anthem of resilience, making us feel involved, immersing us in the song and bringing hope. It's for those moments when we're tired, trying not to give up. It's the kind of song that makes us look closely at ourselves and see that there's still strength to fight and continue. We then feel invigorated to start again with this track.

"Follow Your Star" is very well-crafted, a delightful folk-pop song that has presence, captivates us, and leaves us completely immersed in its verses. Again, we feel motivated and inspired by the song that revitalizes our energies. The chorus is also catchy, and soon we're singing along. It's a song that awakens us, that takes us out of the obvious and makes us think, makes us want more, makes us see our desires again.

Without giving away any more spoilers, you need to hear this album and experience it for yourself. It's a work that brings joy to the listener, that energizes us, that completely captivates us. We love every track, which already means so much to us.
