The Mustard nos conquista com o single "Someone" sendo um dos grandes trabalhos da banda. Entre os outros trabalhos, podemos citar "The Sign" e "When The World Is Your Home".
Lançada em 19 de dezembro de 2025, "Someone" representa uma ousada releitura do clássico do Simple Minds, do álbum "New Gold Dream" de 1982. O que torna essa versão particularmente especial é sua origem não convencional: a faixa foi gravada inteiramente ao vivo na Thamesside Brewery em Staines, Middlesex, inicialmente na mesa de mixagem pelo engenheiro de som Jon Stanesby para fins de mídia social. Reconhecendo o potencial da gravação, a banda convidou o produtor Steve Smiley Barnard, que tem conexões diretas com a linhagem original do Simple Minds por meio de seu trabalho com Derek Forbes e Mick MacNeil no Four Good Men, para transformar a performance crua ao vivo em uma faixa polida e com qualidade de estúdio no Sunshine Corner Studios.

"Someone" é um cover do clássico "Someone Somewhere (In Summertime)" em uma releitura onde The Mustard consegue ser bastante autêntico ao trazer um som bem diferente do original, com um ritmo mais acelerado, batisas que agitam nosso corpo e riffs de guitarra mais eeltrizantes, corrido. A magia dos anos 80 ainda permanece na canção, é fantástico o trabalho cover nessa faixa.
"Someone" é eletrizante do início ao fim, com uma linha de guitarra constante que nos arrebata, as batidas são fortes, sintetizadores trazem transições que são surpreendentes que nos levam em uma viagem atemporal. The Mustard captivates us with the single "Someone," one of the band's great works. Among their other works, we can mention "The Sign" and "When The World Is Your Home."
Released on December 19, 2025, "Someone" represents a bold reinterpretation of the Simple Minds classic from the 1982 album "New Gold Dream." What makes this version particularly special is its unconventional origin: the track was recorded entirely live at Thamesside Brewery in Staines, Middlesex, initially on the mixing desk by sound engineer Jon Stanesby for social media purposes. Recognizing the recording's potential, the band invited producer Steve Smiley Barnard, who has direct connections to the original Simple Minds lineage through his work with Derek Forbes and Mick MacNeil in Four Good Men, to transform the raw live performance into a polished, studio-quality track at Sunshine Corner Studios.
