A banda Motihari Brigade lançou o single "The Great Refusal" como prévia do seu novo álbum, "Problematic", com lançamento previsto para 25 de junho de 2026 (aniversário de George Orwell). "The Great Refusal chegou, e o karma vai ser implacável", diz a letra desta oportuna reflexão sobre o impacto da inteligência artificial. A Motihari Brigade também lançou um lyric video no YouTube para acompanhar a nova música, que ironicamente abraça a óbvia contradição de enviar um alerta grave sobre a ameaça da inteligência artificial, enquanto utiliza a própria inteligência artificial.

Enquanto a IA recebeu até mesmo uma enciclíca do Papa ao lado de líderes do setor, a gente percebe o mundo caminhando na direção do controle, autoritarismo, censura e um declínio cognitivo da sociedade que abraça a IA e usa como fonte de toda criação e não como uma aliada apenas. Parece um momento para um clímax apocaliptico, onde quem se opor ao sistema será perseguido, enquanto a massa aceita o sistema e uma nova ordem mundial. Nesse contexto, a música chega sendo a voz do sistema, um single prévio do álbum que chegará no dia do aniversário de Orwell, autor de 1984 e a Revolução dos Bichos.

The song is driven by a sharp guitar riff, an acrobatic bass line, and a vibrant drum pulse.
Motihari Brigade also released a lyric video on YouTube to accompany the new song, which ironically embraces the obvious contradiction of sending a serious warning about the threat of artificial intelligence while using artificial intelligence itself.

It seems like a moment for an apocalyptic climax, where those who oppose the system will be persecuted, while the masses accept the system and a new world order. In this context, music arrives as the voice of the system, a preview single from the album that will be released on the birthday of Orwell, author of 1984 and Animal Farm.
