Se você procura a próxima voz definitiva na música sulista americana inovadora, não precisa procurar mais: Eye of TJ é a resposta. No dia 12 de junho, o projeto independente de Mobile, Alabama, chegou oficialmente, o aguardado EP "Knowing the Risk".

Após um ano incrível no cenário do rock alternativo cinematográfico — onde o projeto ultrapassou a marca de 100.000 streams —, Eye of TJ apresenta uma ousada mudança sonora. Este EP funde com maestria as vastas e atmosféricas texturas do rock alternativo de arena com a garra, a narrativa e a vulnerabilidade emocional crua do country moderno.

A primeira música Backroad Serenade é sensacional, um rock que traz aquela pegada folk, mas também muito rock, nos mostrando que Eye Of TJ sempre se reinventa e evoluiu, essa faixa traz uma voz forte, mais uma vez ele nos encanta com seus vocais que tem intensidade e que fazem das palavras mágica, elas nos atingem, nos fazem cantar junto, essa letra é linda, e nos faz criar identificação, a forma como ele canta torna tudo mais especial, a gente se sente completamente emocionado, como se fosse nossas próprias palavras a gente faz da voz de Eye Of Tj a nossa. Poucas sonoridades nos impactam tanto como esses vocais, essa música da vontade de cantar junto, nós nos sentimos tão representados pela voz de Eye Of Tj, é sensacional. E a guitarra dessa canção chega intensa, com solos e riffs que mexem com o ouvinte.

Knowing The Risk é a terceira canção essa traz um ritmo bem rock and roll e poderia ser trilha sonora de filmes dos anos 00, ou até mesmo os clássico da netflix, um boa comédia romântica com essa faixa seria incrível, uma música que eleva o nível do filme, essa música é muito bem feita e carregada de intensidade, mais uma que soa completamente cinematográfica e que nos fez cantar junto, não temos palavra para defini o como as canções do Eye Of TJ nos toca.
