Energy Whores lança novo single "Planet B" sendo o terceiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o single "Fade To Gray)" e o álbum "Arsenal of Democracy", que apresenta a mistura característica do projeto de EDM, synth-pop, art rock experimental e design de som cinematográfico que vale a pena ouvir.
O novo trabalho nasceu da frustração, ansiedade e descrença diante da contínua incapacidade da humanidade de enfrentar as mudanças climáticas. Para onde quer que olhemos, as pessoas falam sobre fugir para Marte, construir bunkers ou encontrar soluções tecnológicas para problemas que nós mesmos criamos. Enquanto isso, o único planeta verdadeiramente habitável que conhecemos é aquele que estamos ativamente destruindo.
"Planet B" parece ser um nome científico de um novo planeta descoberto, mas é uma faixa sobre a irônia que estamos vendo sobre a humanidade e seus líderes que estão em uma corrida para descobrir e migrar para um novo planeta habitável devido a previsões catastróficas sobre a Terra. A reflexão que fica é a seguinte: Salvar a Terra com 8 bilhões de pessoas ou deixar ser destruída enquanto coloca a elite global em arcas espaciais rumo a outro planeta para recomeçar a humanidade? Qual seria mais fácil? Qual seria uma espécie de higiene social? Fica a reflexão.
"Planet B" tem uma introdução com batidas que são constantes, fortes, trazem algo mais agitado. Os efeitos sonoros são sútis, suaves, a faixa tem transições que assemelham a efeitos espaciais, como se estivéssemos em uma nave espacial, em uma jornada futurista muito longe da Terra, em busca de um lugar para substituir o insubstituível.
"Planet B" é refrescante com vocal que usa autotune, harmonizando perfeitamente a atmosfera sonora, nos levando em um som experimental que traz o indie pop, eletro e o rock, uma mescla que proporciona aos ouvintes uma paisagem sonora que nos desconecta de tudo ao redor, simplesmente a gente flutua sobre a superfície. Perto do final da faixa, a música cresce com as batidas e tem um arranjo de vozes e sobreposição, o sintetizador traz sons que nos deixa em estado psicodélico.
Energy Whores consegue criar um universo onde a gente consegue ter ums fuga em um oásis, um soundscape eletrizante, suave, transcendental, reflexivo, uma faixa que se ouvir em um fone de ouvido é possível sentir toda a experiência sonora que é fascinante.

Energy Whores releases new single "Planet B," their third release this year. Previously, they released the single "Fade To Gray" and the album "Arsenal of Democracy," which showcases the project's characteristic blend of EDM, synth-pop, experimental art rock, and cinematic sound design that's definitely worth listening to.
The new work stems from frustration, anxiety, and disbelief in the face of humanity's continued inability to address climate change. Everywhere we look, people talk about fleeing to Mars, building bunkers, or finding technological solutions to problems we ourselves have created. Meanwhile, the only truly habitable planet we know of is the one we are actively destroying.
"Planet B" sounds like the scientific name of a newly discovered planet, but it's a track about the irony of humanity and its leaders racing to discover and migrate to a new habitable planet due to catastrophic predictions about Earth. The question that remains is this: Save Earth with 8 billion people or let it be destroyed while placing the global elite in space arks bound for another planet to restart humanity? Which would be easier? Which would be a kind of social cleansing? Something to think about.
"Planet B" has an introduction with constant, strong beats, creating a more agitated atmosphere. The sound effects are subtle, smooth; the track has transitions that resemble space effects, as if we were on a spaceship, on a futuristic journey far from Earth, searching for a place to replace the irreplaceable.
"Planet B" is refreshing with vocals that use autotune, perfectly harmonizing the sonic atmosphere, taking us on an experimental journey that blends indie pop, electro, and rock—a mix that provides listeners with a soundscape that disconnects us from everything around us; we simply float on the surface. Towards the end of the track, the music builds with the beats and features an arrangement of voices and layering; the synthesizer brings sounds that leave us in a psychedelic state.
Energy Whores manages to create a universe where we can escape to an oasis, an electrifying, smooth, transcendental, reflective soundscape; a track that, when listened to with headphones, allows us to feel the entire fascinating sonic experience.
