Shaki traz álbum genial de hip-hop com Rock original

 Shaki acaba de lançar seu novo e poderoso álbum que tem presença e muita qualidade, um trabalho original com rap que nunca vimos e um hip-hop de muita qualidade, esse disco nos cativa, nos energiza nos convence.

Essa mistura de indie rock e hip hop é única e só existe desse forma no novo álbum de Shaki,  "Next Bus to Wrightsville",  que foi gravado há quase 20 anos, em 2007, e ficou perdido por quase duas décadas.  

Este é provavelmente o álbum de rap com mais guitarras desde Run DMC e Aerosmith. Da faixa introdutória tranquila "Mesmerized" à impactante "Wins, Lies, and Rides" e ao hit dançante "Fight that Fire", há um pouco de tudo para todos os gostos neste lançamento. Shaky e Chris Kyte estão trabalhando em material novo em resposta a este lançamento.

A primeira faixa é a leve e refrescante, que abre o disco em grande estilo, Mesmerized, uma canção inteligente, de guitarra poderosa que embala o ouvinte o fazendo celebrar a música de qualidade, essa canção nos transporta, nos arranca do caos, da cidade, do barulho, para levar nossa mente a lugares onde nos sentimos em paz e em contato com nós mesmos, essa faixa é aquele brisa fresca em um dia de muito calor, ela é do tipo que nos faz sentir relaxados, imersos em sonoridades que nos aliviam, com uma narrativa cheia de encanto e que nos faz entrar em contato com nós mesmos. Nós amamos essa canção e ela nos deu vontade de ouvir mais e mais do disco.

Sherry's Kid da continuidade a esse clima leve e autêntico, ela é muito bem construída, com vocais que chamam a atenção , que se integram perfeitamente a música e a mensagem da música, é uma melodia que nos eletriza, que cria uma onde em nossa mente, que nos remete coisas boas em uma letra que nos faz criar uma história em nossa mente e que nos traz identificação com a mente, uma canção cinematrográfica que amamos, nos proporciona uma experiência incrível e deliciosa, nós estamos hipnotizados por essa faixa.

Wins, Lies And Rides é realmente uma música intensa, rap forte, de intensidade que nos leva a reflexão, que traz temas poderosos, que nos faz deixar um pouco de lado tudo para colcoar a mente para pensar, essa música é sensacional, pois ela captura a essência do rap de forma única e original, uma faixa que quebra um boa o lado good vibes do disco para trazer uma sonoridade mais densa e cheia de pensamentos, amamos e isso nos mostrou toda a versatilidade e capacidade de criação de Shaki, nós achamos genial.

Fight The Fire é a quarta canção, vocais femininos cantam versos que grudam em nossa mente em um cenário que construímos na nossa mente com um pouco de nostálgia, voltando ao hip-hop black pop e somado a muita personalidade e autenticidade, essa faixa é incrível e super interessantes, amamos os versos dessa canção, o quanto eles nos tocam, amamos as sonoridades escolhidas, o rap que corre muito bem, é simplesmente deliciosa e nós estamos impactados.

Sem mais spoillers esse disco é um fenomeno, é intenso, é leve, é nostálgico é autêntico é relaxante e reflexivo, ele é um turbilhãos de emoções e é disso que a gente precisa, nós amamos.

Wins, Lies And Rides is truly an intense song, a strong rap, an intensity that leads us to reflection, that brings powerful themes, that makes us put everything aside for a moment to let our minds think. This song is sensational because it captures the essence of rap in a unique and original way, a track that breaks the good vibes side of the album to bring a denser sound full of thoughts. We loved it, and it showed us all of Shaki's versatility and creative capacity; we think it's brilliant.

"Fight The Fire" is the fourth song, featuring female vocals and catchy verses set against a backdrop of nostalgia, harking back to hip-hop and black pop, but combined with a lot of personality and authenticity. This track is incredible and super interesting. We love the verses, how deeply they resonate with us, the chosen sounds, the smooth rap; it's simply delightful, and we're blown away.

Without further spoilers, this album is phenomenal. It's intense, light, nostalgic, authentic, relaxing, and reflective. It's a whirlwind of emotions, and that's exactly what we need. We love it.
