O By Million Wires retorna com "Not Over", um sofisticado EP de 5 faixas que une o indie rock atmosférico e o alternativo melódico.
Liderado pelos vocais íntimos e poderosos do fundador Mirek Skrok, o projeto explora temas de autonomia e continuidade. Este é um disco sobre sobrevivência, continuidade e a verdade de que algumas histórias simplesmente nunca terminam.
'Over' é a primeira faixa, com riffs que são eletrizantes no início, somos envolvidos com batidas que trazem um ritmo sólido, se mantendo constante essa melodia da introdução. O vocal entra, nos leva em um ambiente onde a guitarra traz um aspecto psicodélico indo para um refrão onde é expansivo e então a gente canta junto.
'Glass Houses' tem um início mais sombrio, com batidas que entram e trazem uma atmosfera mais lenta, crescente, é uma canção muito bem trabalhada em seu instrumental. A música conquista em um estilo que nos faz sentir a nostalgia dos anos 2000. No refrão, entra um clima mais explosivo e isso introdução
'I Know Better' é a faixa com mais destaque nesse EP, criando uma atmosfera que traz algo dos anos 90. A guitarra nos faz flutuar para longe, a canção mostra os vocais cantando suavemente. O ambiente distorcido pinta uma tapeçaria shoegaze cinematico.
'Lost or Won' mantém o estilo do EP, a gente sente as batidas, a guitarra muito bem presente, a faixa é a penúltima canção um shoegaze que faz a gente entrar em uma jornada poderosa.
'Runaway' é a última faixa, nos leva com uma construção da guitarra com riffs progressivos e batidas crescentes. O vocal traz um timbre mais forte, a sonoridade hipnotiza o ouvinte, a linha de guitarra frenética e o refrão gruda em nossa mente, a gente canta junto.

By Million Wires releases new EP 'Not Over', their first major release this year. Previously, singles that are part of the EP had already been released.
By Million Wires returns with "Not Over," a sophisticated 5-track EP that combines atmospheric indie rock and melodic alternative.
Led by the intimate and powerful vocals of founder Mirek Skrok, the project explores themes of autonomy and continuity. This is an album about survival, continuity, and the truth that some stories simply never end.
'Over' is the first track, with electrifying riffs at the beginning. We are enveloped by beats that bring a solid rhythm, maintaining the melody of the introduction. The vocals enter, taking us into an environment where the guitar brings a psychedelic aspect, leading to an expansive chorus where we sing along.
'Glass Houses' has a darker beginning, with beats that come in and create a slower, growing atmosphere; it's a very well-crafted song instrumentally. The music captivates with a style that makes us feel the nostalgia of the 2000s. In the chorus, a more explosive atmosphere kicks in, and this introduction...
'I Know Better' is the standout track on this EP, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the 90s. The guitar makes us float away, the song showcases the vocals singing softly. The distorted environment paints a cinematic shoegaze tapestry.
'Lost or Won' maintains the EP's style; we feel the beats, the guitar is very present, the track is the penultimate song, a shoegaze that takes us on a powerful journey.
