Brother Dolly releases new single 'As I Fall I Feel Alive', their second release this year. Previously, they released the single "Transmission Number 5".
Following the tragic death of Paul Bamba, Brother Dolly immediately felt inspired to write about the moment between the punch and the fall, a fraction of a second that changes everything. Their story echoes what many of us feel and do in our daily lives. It reflects what happens in the world around us and perhaps explains, in part, how beautifully imperfect we are as human beings.
Brother Dolly blends folktronica and electronic music with a heart-wrenching sound and a ghost in the machine. Part folk, part futuristic, songs stitched together across time zones by singer-songwriter Dan Whitehouse (UK/Japan), producer Jason Tarver (Barcelona), and sound sculptor Tom Greenwood (Yorkshire).
