The Cumberland River Project acaba de lançar mais um trabalho maravilhoso, seu novo Ep, folk que contagia, que tem essência e que nos faz refletir, cada som nos inspira e nos comove, um trabalho que realmente tem impacto em nossos dias e que nos deixou admirados, simplesmente amamos cada pedacinho desse trabalho.

Meet Me In The Rain é o nome do novo EP de trabalho do super talentoso The Cumberland River Project, com 6 faixas o trabalho é envolvente do inicio ao fim, nos abraça, nos comeve e nos faz sentir bem, um folk especial que tem muita raiz e profundidade.

A primeira faixa "Turntable" já chega mostrando a que o EP veio, com um instrumental bem característico do folk country, com um refrão que pega e logo estamos cantando junto, e do tipo que nos convida e nos faz criar interesse de ouvir o restante da canção, essa música tem muita personalidade e jpa de cara nos explica o porquê estávamos tão ansiosos para lançamentos do The Cumberland River Project. Uma canção que é expressiva e que nos faz muito bem cantar junto deles. Amamos.

"Leave The Lights On" é a segunda canção, com uma introdução que nos pega, cativando completamente e sentimos que é uma faixa que vai nos conquistar com sua profundidade, aquele som folk que trazo violão, piano, batidas suaves, o vocal começa a faixa e nos leva em seu timbre rasgado que aquece nossos corações. É aquela faixa que é perfeita para ouvir em um cair da tarde pra noite, tomando um vinho com alguém especial, tornando o momento intimista. O refrão é fácil de cantar, grudando em nossa mente. Certamente é a faixa certa para ouvir em uma viagem a uma cidade incrível que temos no Brasil que é Campos do Jordão, aquele clima de monte onde é frio, a natureza ao redor, a canção com certeza deve estar incluída em sua playlist.

"I Want You Back" é a terceira faixa, tem um clima mais country, com aqueles riffs característicos distorcidos na introdução com o toque de violão que traz essa energia gostosa. A canção tem um ritmo mais agitado com o toque de violão e as batidas, os violinos tornam as transições elegantes, charmosas e calmas, isso é fascinante.

"Song 4 U" é algo mais intimista, suave, uma canção que tem o vocal em um tom mais grave no início. As batidas são mais suaves e discretas, somos levados em um ambiente que traz uma harmonia que nos relaxa, com a letra que traz os encantos de estar apaixonado, uma canção para alguém especial, descrevendo o quão linda a pessoa é. A canção tem um arranjo que nos desconecta de tudo ao redor, com backing vocal que combina perfeitamente e traz a sintonia perfeita.

"Leave-Me-Town" é a quinta e penuúltima canção do EP, onde podemos nos entregar e deixar os acordes do country nos levar para longe. Aqui é onde sentimos em casa, uma faixa confortável que acolhe. A canção tem um refrão que rapidamente estamos mexendo nosso corpo e cantando juntos. 

Esse trabalho realmente foi muito impactante para nós, amamos cada detalhe, um disco completo de emoção, inspiração, e folk que diz muito, um trabalho que nos coloca em uma atmosfera deliciosa e nos faz flutuar, simplesmente sensacional.

The Cumberland River Project has just released another wonderful work, their new EP, a contagious folk album full of essence that makes us reflect. Each sound inspires and moves us, a work that truly impacts our lives and leaves us in awe. We simply loved every bit of this work.

Meet Me In The Rain is the name of the new EP from the super talented The Cumberland River Project. With 6 tracks, the work is captivating from beginning to end, embracing us, moving us, and making us feel good – a special folk sound with deep roots.

The first track, "Turntable," immediately shows what the EP is all about, with a characteristic folk-country instrumental, a catchy chorus that quickly has us singing along, and the kind that invites us to listen to the rest of the song. This song has a lot of personality and immediately explains why we were so eager for releases from The Cumberland River Project. An expressive song that makes us feel great singing along. We loved it.

"Leave The Lights On" is the second song, with an introduction that grabs us, completely captivating us, and we feel it's a track that will win us over with its depth. That folk sound that brings guitar, piano, smooth beats, the vocals start the track and take us in with their raspy timbre that warms our hearts. It's the perfect track to listen to at dusk, having a glass of wine with someone special, making the moment intimate. The chorus is easy to sing along to, sticking in our minds. It's certainly the right track to listen to on a trip to an incredible city we have in Brazil, Campos do Jordão, with its mountain climate where it's cold, the surrounding nature—the song should definitely be included in your playlist.

"I Want You Back" is the third track, it has a more country feel, with those characteristic distorted riffs in the introduction and the touch of guitar that brings that pleasant energy. The song has a more upbeat rhythm with the guitar and beats, the violins make the transitions elegant, charming and calm, which is fascinating.

"Song 4 U" is something more intimate, softer, a song that has the vocals in a lower tone at the beginning. The beats are softer and more discreet, we are taken to an environment that brings a harmony that relaxes us, with lyrics that capture the charms of being in love, a song for someone special, describing how beautiful the person is. The song has an arrangement that disconnects us from everything around us, with backing vocals that blend perfectly and bring the perfect harmony.

"Leave-Me-Town" is the fifth and penultimate song on the EP, where we can surrender and let the country chords take us away. This is where we feel at home, a comfortable track that welcomes us. The song has a chorus that quickly gets us moving our bodies and singing along.

This work was truly impactful for us, we loved every detail, a complete album of emotion, inspiration, and folk that speaks volumes, a work that puts us in a delightful atmosphere and makes us float, simply sensational.
