Martin Lloyd Howard lança novo single "Rapids" sendo um dos trabalhos lançados nesse ano. Entre eles, podemos citar "Bluebells and Farthings" e "Riders on The Storm". 

Martin Howard é um violonista inglês, originalmente formado na tradição clássica, que expandiu seu repertório para o folk, blues e rock, tanto elétrico quanto acústico. Seu instrumento principal é um violão clássico feito à mão há cinquenta anos, mas ele também é proficiente em guitarra elétrica, acústica e slide. 

Esta é uma peça original arranjada para violão solo. Começou como um exercício para alongar o braço do violão com a mão esquerda e desenvolver a força e a destreza dos dedos. Mas evoluiu para uma peça completa que lembra um rio espumando sobre corredeiras, depois formando redemoinhos e poças em um fluxo mais suave, antes de voltar a fluir sobre pedras e corredeiras. 

"Rapids" é uma canção instrumental que faz os ouvintes sentir aquela tranquilidade e paz que nos desconecta do mundo, somos levados em uma experiência intimista através das cordas do violão, onde podemos ouvir a troca dos acordes, a passagem dos dedos.

"Rapids" nos leva em uma jornada que saímos da cidade grande, vamos em direção ao interior, passamos pelos rios, montes, vales, cenários que são maravilhosos, cachoeiras, vemos o por do sol, a canção consegue nos tirar do ambiente onde estamos, sentimos nossas emoções fluir e tudo fica mais leve.

Martin Lloyd Howard releases new single "Rapids," one of several works released this year. Among his other works are "Bluebells and Farthings" and "Riders on the Storm."

Martin Howard is an English guitarist, originally trained in the classical tradition, who has expanded his repertoire to include folk, blues, and rock, both electric and acoustic. His main instrument is a handmade classical guitar, fifty years old, but he is also proficient in electric, acoustic, and slide guitar.

This is an original piece arranged for solo guitar. It began as an exercise to stretch the guitar neck with the left hand and develop finger strength and dexterity. But it evolved into a complete piece reminiscent of a river foaming over rapids, then forming eddies and pools in a gentler flow, before flowing again over rocks and rapids.

"Rapids" is an instrumental song that makes listeners feel that tranquility and peace that disconnects us from the world. We are taken on an intimate experience through the guitar strings, where we can hear the changing chords and the movement of the fingers.

"Rapids" takes us on a journey from the big city to the countryside, passing rivers, mountains, valleys, and wonderful scenery, waterfalls, and watching the sunset. The song manages to take us out of our current environment, allowing us to feel our emotions flow and everything become lighter.

"Rapids" removes the weight from our shoulders, takes away the worries of the day, and allows us to surrender to melodic lessons beautifully built upon chords that bring the magic of acoustic folk.
