Schau.Schou acaba de nos dar seu novo e poderoso álbum, um trabalho bem construído que nos chama a atenção e que tem autenticidade e muita entrega do artista, um disco cheio de emoção com ocmposição que surpreende e nos faz pensar.
January é o EP de estreia do Schau.Schou, um novo duo norueguês formado por dois artistas que — por coincidência — compartilham o mesmo nome. O projeto reúne Kristopher Schau, conhecido em toda a Noruega por suas bandas de rock barulhentas e caóticas e por sua longa carreira no rádio e na TV, e Christoffer Schou, produtor e artista com raízes no dream-pop, texturas lo-fi e música indie com influências dos anos 90.
Esse disco já se inicia com uma música que nos faz mergulhar de cabeça no projeto, canção cheia de sentimentos de arranjos que tem profundidade em um pop rock que consegue ser perfeito para nos tirar de nossa rotina caótica e nos fazer mergulhar em vibrações de refleção e de muita intensidade, essa faixa é um excelente convite para que o ouvinte fique e se conecte as outras canções, é uma música que nos fez entrar de cabeça em nós mesmos e em nosso sentimentos, logo estamos cantando junto do duo, a primeira ouvida, é sensacional, hipnotizante e mágica.
A segunda cançã otraz uma vibe menos dark e consegue abrir um pouco mais a sonoridade, dando um rock alternativo delicioso daqueles que a gente gosta de cantar junto, comuma batida fresca e sonoridades nostalgicas que nos levam a 80, 90, o melhor do rock através das decadas está ness canção, é vibrante, tem instrumental organizado e bem alinhado, da camadas de arranjos que surpreendem com riffs que conversam com a gente junto da narrativa, essa música tem muito nossa essencia nela, é muito bom ter algo assim apra ouvir hoje em dia, poderia ser trilha sonora de algum filmes.
A terceira canção é emocionante, cheia de romance, é muito bem feita, nos conecta as nossas emoções profundas, nos faz sentir vivos, nos tira do entorpecimento e nos conecta ao amor, é uma música reflexiva e que consegue trazer muito sentimentos através de seus vocais que expressam o que a música diz, isso torna a canção cartática, é exelente, e nós amamos.
A quarta faixa e penultima do Ep, é provocativa, tem tons de rocj vencedor, é o tipo de música que em um filme traz a cena final, essa música é muito bem construída e nos da a sensaçãos de ter ecnontrado algo único, é o tipo de faixa nunca produzida por alguém, material super autêntico e carregada de emoção, nós amamos muito.
Sem mais spoillers, se você ama rock alternativo esse disco é pra você, rock que cativa, que tem intensidade, que tem drama e que consegue nos fazer sentir na bad e logo depois ficamos excelente, esse disco é um trabalho para a sociedade, simplesmente sensacional.

Schau.Schou has just given us their powerful new album, a well-constructed work that grabs our attention and has authenticity and a lot of commitment from the artist, an album full of emotion with surprising compositions that make us think.
January is the debut EP from Schau.Schou, a new Norwegian duo formed by two artists who — coincidentally — share the same name. The project brings together Kristopher Schau, known throughout Norway for his noisy and chaotic rock bands and his long career in radio and TV, and Christoffer Schou, a producer and artist with roots in dream-pop, lo-fi textures, and indie music with 90s influences.
This album begins with a song that immerses us completely in the project, a song full of emotion and arrangements that have depth in a pop-rock style that manages to be perfect for taking us out of our chaotic routine and immersing us in vibrations of reflection and great intensity. This track is an excellent invitation for the listener to stay and connect with the other songs; it's a song that makes us delve into ourselves and our feelings, and soon we are singing along with the duo. The first listen is sensational, mesmerizing, and magical.
The second song has a less dark vibe and manages to open up the sound a bit more, delivering a delightful alternative rock sound that we love to sing along to, with a fresh beat and nostalgic sounds that take us back to the 80s and 90s. The best of rock throughout the decades is in this song; it's vibrant, with well-organized and aligned instrumentation, layers of arrangements that surprise with riffs that speak to us along with the narrative. This song has a lot of our essence in it; it's great to have something like this to listen to nowadays. It could be the soundtrack to some movie.
The third song is emotional, full of romance, very well done, connecting us to our deepest emotions, making us feel alive, pulling us out of numbness and connecting us to love. It's a reflective song that manages to convey a lot of feelings through its vocals, which express what the music says. This makes the song cathartic; it's excellent, and we love it.
The fourth and penultimate track on the EP is provocative, with winning rock tones. It's the kind of song that, in a movie, provides the final scene. This song is very well-constructed and gives us the feeling of having found something unique. It's the kind of track never before produced by anyone, super authentic material, full of emotion. We loved it very much.
Without further spoilers, if you love alternative rock, this album is for you. Rock that captivates, that has intensity, that has drama, and that manages to make us feel down and then, right after, feel excellent. This album is a work for society, simply sensational.
