Midnite Radio lança novo EP "Auntie" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado o EP debute da banda.
Emergindo como uma força vibrante na cena do rock moderno, o Midnite Radio é uma banda eufórica e teatral que mistura melodias comoventes com produções dinâmicas e grandiosas. Fundada pelos amigos de longa data e colaboradores criativos Lee Coram (guitarra) e Beak Wing (bateria), de Lebanon, Tennessee, a banda tem suas raízes na camaradagem e na paixão compartilhada por contar histórias através da música.
Para iniciar tem a primeira faixa "Reboot The Drought" que nos leva em uma atmosfera por dentro do rock clássico e ao mesmo tempo teatral, cinemático, surpreendendo os ouvintes em uma experiência imersiva. Com aspectos sombrios, um som tecnológico, sons de teclado em meio ao som da guitarra, é como se MUSE e KEANE tivesem tido um filho em termos sonoros, é caótico, melódico, com um vocal que nos eletriza.
A segunda faixa "Fear No Stars" tem uma introdução que nos envolve, um rock sombrio que atrai, um arranjo instrumental bem construído, batidas marcantes e rápidas, riffs de guitarra que são eletrizantes em um tom mais grave e o baixo que é cativante. A canção surpreende em sua mudança de rota, a atmosfera cresce, um ambiente novo chega e de repente estamos flutuando sob um vocal cinemático, com uma performance que é fascinante e conquista os ouvintes.
"Backwards" é a terceira canção, uma mescla de indie pop e rock, a canção mantém estável, em uma frequência suave, com vocal que leva ao estilo mais falsete os versos. Para ter ideia, lembra algo de Tame Impala mas um pouco mais rock, com riffs de guitarra que são completamente vibrantes nas transições. O sintetizador aqui entra muito bem, é uma canção que mostra a versatilidade na criação sonora até aqui.
"Quench" a quarta faixa traz um rock que flui em nosso corpo, com riffs rápidos, baixo bem presente, batidas que deixam a música correr. Sentimos uma energia gostosa dos anos 80, uma faixa para sair pelas ruas a noite em uma sexta feira a procura de significado. O refrão gruda em nossa mente, fazendo a gente cantar juntos, o vocal traz um falsete, contagia rapidamente. O instrumental é bem poderoso, as transições, mais uma vez é uma faixa que mostra a capacidade da banda de mudar as direções entre as faixas.
"Breath" é a quinta faixa, uma canção muito bem construída, com transições que são fascinantes. A canção traz riffs suaves e batidas que crescem e trazem intensidade. Por volta de 1:47 minutos da faixa, somos levados em uma sequência que traz uma atmosfera crescente, é simplesmente o momento catártico da faixa.
O EP ainda conta com a última faixa "Paradise" não vamos dar spoiler. O EP "Auntie" é completamente empolgante, debute, a banda chega com tudo, com canções que não nos deixa entediados em termos sonoros, mas com canções que são versáteis, eletrizantes, com arranjos autênticos, teatrais em algumas faixas, a banda faz a gente sentir tudo, flui em nosso corpo, nos deixa ansiosos por novos trabalhos.

Midnite Radio releases new EP "Auntie," their debut EP being their first release.
Emerging as a vibrant force in the modern rock scene, Midnite Radio is an euphoric and theatrical band that blends poignant melodies with dynamic and grandiose productions. Founded by longtime friends and creative collaborators Lee Coram (guitar) and Beak Wing (drums) from Lebanon, Tennessee, the band has its roots in camaraderie and a shared passion for storytelling through music.
To start, there's the first track, "Reboot The Drought," which takes us into an atmosphere that blends classic rock with a theatrical, cinematic feel, surprising listeners with an immersive experience. With dark aspects, a technological sound, keyboard sounds amidst the guitar, it's as if MUSE and KEANE had a son in sonic terms; it's chaotic, melodic, with vocals that electrify us.
The second track, "Fear No Stars," has an engaging introduction, a dark rock sound that draws you in, a well-constructed instrumental arrangement, striking and fast beats, electrifying guitar riffs in a deeper tone, and a captivating bass. The song surprises with its change of direction; the atmosphere builds, a new environment arrives, and suddenly we are floating under a cinematic vocal performance that is fascinating and captivating for listeners.
"Backwards" is the third song, a mix of indie pop and rock. The song remains stable, at a smooth frequency, with vocals that take on a more falsetto style in the verses. To give you an idea, it's reminiscent of Tame Impala but a bit more rock, with guitar riffs that are completely vibrant in the transitions. The synthesizer works very well here; it's a song that showcases the characteristics of the sound creation so far.
"Quench," the fourth track, delivers a rock sound that flows through our bodies, with fast riffs, a prominent bass, and beats that keep the music moving. We feel a pleasant 80s energy, a track to take to the streets on a Friday night in search of meaning. The chorus sticks in your mind, making you sing along; the vocals feature a falsetto, quickly becoming contagious. The instrumental is very powerful, the transitions are great, and once again it's a track that shows the band's ability to shift possibilities between tracks.
"Breath" is the fifth track, a very well-constructed song with fascinating transitions. The song features smooth riffs and beats that build and intensify. Around 1:47 minutes into the track, we are taken on a sequence that creates a growing atmosphere; it's simply the cathartic moment of the track.
The EP also includes the final track, "Paradise"—we won't give away any spoilers. The EP "Tia" is completely exciting, a debut where the band comes in strong, with songs that don't bore us sonically, but with songs that are versatile, electrifying, with authentic arrangements, theatrical in some tracks. The band makes us feel everything, it flows through our bodies, leaving us eager for new work.
