Moon Construction Kit lança novo single "Chemicals" sendo o segundo trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o single "Long John Silver".
Moon Construction Kit é o projeto solo de Olivier Cornu, músico, compositor e produtor suíço, que explora as interseções entre o pop alternativo, o indie-rock/pop, o synth-pop, texturas cinematográficas e influências do final dos anos 60. “Chemicals”, um single sombrio e impactante de power-goth-pop que transforma as consequências de um trauma pessoal em algo feroz e eletrizante. Misturando a aspereza do indie rock, a atmosfera gótica sombria e instintos pop afiados como navalha, a faixa captura a espiral de sentimentos intensos e a dormência que se segue.
"Chemicals" inicia com um ambiente alucinante, com som de sintetizador que nos leva aos anos 80, riffs de guitarra de algo mais punk, as batidas entram e nos levam em um ambiente agitado, o vocal completamente vibrante, rapidamente sentimos envolvidos por essa nuance gótica do pop.
"Chemicals" dilacera o ouvinte por dentro, rasgando em cada transição, o vocal é sólido, constante, uma faixa que traz aquele clima
obscuro, como se estivéssemos andando pelas ruas a noite, pelas sombras, em uma sexta-feira, aquele instinto da juventude que jorra em nossas veias.
"Chemicals" tem trechos que faz a adrenalina fluir em nosso corpo, com guitarra eletrizante, a energia fica completamente bruta e intensa por dentro, nossos sentimentos vão em um lugar pouco explorados, aos poucos essa energia vai caindo, mostrando a beleza desse pop rock gótico, os altos e baixos de sensações que são como as químicas e as transformações.

Moon Construction Kit releases new single "Chemicals," their second release this year. Previously, they released the single "Long John Silver."
Moon Construction Kit is the solo project of Olivier Cornu, a Swiss musician, composer, and producer who explores the intersections between alternative pop, indie-rock/pop, synth-pop, cinematic textures, and influences from the late 60s. "Chemicals," a dark and impactful power-goth-pop single, transforms the consequences of personal trauma into something fierce and electrifying. Mixing the harshness of indie rock, a dark gothic atmosphere, and razor-sharp pop instincts, the track captures the spiral of intense feelings and the numbness that follows.
"Chemicals" begins with a mind-blowing atmosphere, with synthesizer sounds reminiscent of the 80s, punk-tinged guitar riffs, and a driving beat that transports us to a hectic environment. The vocals are incredibly vibrant, quickly blending with that gothic pop nuance.
"Chemicals" tears the listener apart inside, ripping with each transition. The vocals are solid and consistent, creating a dark, almost shadowy atmosphere, as if we were walking the streets at night, in the shadows, on a Friday night – that youthful instinct coursing through our veins.

Gradually, this energy dissipates, revealing the beauty of this gothic pop-rock, the highs and lows of sensations that are like chemical reactions and transformations.
