Freya Magee lança novo single "Over There" sendo o terceiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Forget Yourself Not" e "Duplicity".
Freya Magee é uma cantora e compositora indie londrina que cria canções irônicas e emocionalmente perspicazes para pensadores noturnos e pessoas introspectivas e emotivas. Originalmente de Melbourne, ela mistura guitarras com percussão marcante e nuances lo-fi sutis, criando mundos íntimos onde humor, honestidade e hesitação coexistem. “Over There”, adota uma sonoridade mais seca e com uma pegada mais de banda, remetendo às trilhas sonoras de comédias românticas do início dos anos 2000 e ao charme vibrante de Letters to Cleo. Freya Magee is a London-based indie singer-songwriter who creates ironic and emotionally insightful songs for night owls and introspective, emotional individuals. Originally from Melbourne, she blends guitars with striking percussion and subtle lo-fi nuances, creating intimate worlds where humor, honesty, and hesitation coexist. "Over There" adopts a drier sound with a more band-like feel, reminiscent of early 2000s romantic comedy soundtracks and the vibrant charm of Letters to Cleo. It's a song that begins with a defiant stubbornness but reveals a certain vulnerability behind the bravado. Currently working on her debut EP, Magee is carving out her space in the indie scene with lyrics that resemble a diary.
"Over There" begins with Freya's delicate voice, with acoustic guitar creating an atmosphere that strongly envelops us in the song. The beats kick in and captivate us, swaying our bodies; quickly the track takes us far away, we feel that 90s and 2000s style, something of Alanis Morissette, making us embark on a familiar environment where we grew up listening.

We surrender to the track at that moment, in a rhythm that flows through our bodies, and then we embark on the final parts, going into the chorus, where everything becomes softer and quieter, and the instrumental terms and Freya's voice finish perfectly. The track easily pleases lovers of pop rock with a 2000s vibe.
