Deciderata lança novo álbum "Reflections:1" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano, uma marca importante para a banda.
Após um período de inatividade, a banda se reuniu para reimaginar seus trabalhos anteriores em uma homenagem ao seu estilo único de Tru-Fusion. Inspirando-se em uma miríade de gêneros, incluindo funk, screamo, nu-metal, gospel, jazz, rock e reggae, o mais recente lançamento da Deciderata dá nova vida a faixas familiares, oferecendo aos ouvintes uma perspectiva renovada sobre sua música tão querida. A Deciderata, originária da Filadélfia, Estados Unidos, é uma banda que realmente personifica a essência da colaboração musical. Composta por seis membros principais, incluindo os vocalistas Jason Crafts e Kevin Hartman, o baterista Anthony Matthews, o baixista Kevin Mickle e os guitarristas Damien Osborne e Chris Morano, a jornada da Deciderata começou no sul de Nova Jersey, onde quatro dos membros cresceram juntos, formando um forte laço que se refletiu perfeitamente em sua música.
Para iniciar, tem a primeira faixa "Bite" que traz riffs de guitarra eletrizantes, com batidas estrondosas que mexem nosso corpo e balançam com bastante força. A canção nos envolve em um estilo metal com algo do hip hop em sua forma de ser cantada, com rimas rápidas, criando uma atmosfera vibrante e com muita intensidade, começando o álbum em alto nível, com muita energia.
"Medicine" é a segunda faixa, com um estilo reggae, o álbum apresenta uma mudança brusca em seu ritmo, surpreendendo completamente os ouvintes, com o vocal que traz essa característica, fazendo a música fluir em nossas veias e cativando a gente, balançamos o corpo em um ritmo mais suave, que aos poucos as transições mais eletrizantes arrebatam os ouvintes nesse reggae que anestesia nossa mente.
"Get Down" é a terceira faixa, com um estilo que nos faz dançar do início ao fim, trazendo o jazz, o rock, reggae em um único ritmo que o vocal consegue impor sua energia e leva a faixa conforme quer, surpreendendo em cada transição e variação, o vocal traz uma velocidade maior para a faixa, dando vida para uma faixa que tem diversas facetas.
A quarta faixa "My Life" tem uma transição contagiante e com uma energia deliciosa. Simplesmente o ouvinte não consegue perceber facilmente a passagem da terceira faixa para a quarta faixa, com uma transição épica, marcando com soul, baixo que balança nosso corpo e o vocal que traz o universo pop, isso faz a gente entrar em ondas que são alucinantes, intensificando a medida que a música pessa.
"Speak To Me" é a quinta faixa, com um toque de guitarra que desconcerta, trazendo a vibe dos anos 90 e 2000, nessa faixa ficamos surpreendidos nesse scream nu metal, com riffs de guitarra que carregam a energia da música e o vocal que incendeia e faz explodir com muito poder e fazendo a gente cantar juntos.
A sétima canção "Soldiers" tem um som forte, marcante com uma conexão incrível entre as linhas de guitarra trazendo algo bem rock com o baixo trazendo o jazz, isso é fascinante e eleva o nível da faixa, com o vocal entrando com rimas rápidas e vibrantes, alucinando nossa mente e fazendo a gente balançar nossas mãos para o alto.
"The New Song" é a nona faixa, um hip hop completamente fluido, sentimos o clima do soul, algo retrô e clássico nessa faixa que mexe nosso corpo. Somos levados em uma onda eletrizante e completamente suave, com uma sonoridade contagiante, simplesmente fechamos os olhos e deixamos essa atmosfera relaxar e tirar a tensão, a opressão e o peso que carregamos em nossos ombros.
O novo álbum nos surpreende e conquista com uma mescla de diferentes gêneros que rompem as barreiras entre, os ouvintes são levados em uma obra que sai de toda a comodidade e explora sons que dificilmente podemos ouvir, espaços que raramente visitamos, uma energia incrível.

Deciderata releases new album "Reflections:1", their first release this year, a significant milestone for the band.
After a period of inactivity, the band reunited to reimagine their previous works in a tribute to their unique Tru-Fusion style. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of genres, including funk, screamo, nu-metal, gospel, jazz, rock, and reggae, Deciderata's latest release breathes new life into familiar tracks, offering listeners a fresh perspective on their beloved music. Deciderata, originating from Philadelphia, USA, is a band that truly embodies the essence of musical collaboration. Composed of six core members, including vocalists Jason Crafts and Kevin Hartman, drummer Anthony Matthews, bassist Kevin Mickle, and guitarists Damien Osborne and Chris Morano, Deciderata's journey began in southern New Jersey, where four of the members grew up together, forming a strong bond that is perfectly reflected in their music.
To begin, there's the first track, "Bite," which features electrifying guitar riffs and thunderous beats that move our bodies and make us sway with great force. The song envelops us in a metal style with a touch of hip hop in its delivery, with fast rhymes, creating a vibrant and intense atmosphere, starting the album on a high note, full of energy.
"Medicine" is the second track, with a reggae style. The album presents a sharp change in rhythm, completely surprising listeners, with vocals that bring this characteristic, making the music flow through our veins and captivating us. We sway our bodies to a smoother rhythm, which gradually transitions to more electrifying reggae that sweeps listeners away.
"Get Down" is the third track, with a style that makes us dance from beginning to end, bringing together jazz, rock, and reggae in a single rhythm where the vocals manage to impose their energy and drive the track as they wish, surprising in each transition and variation. The vocals bring greater speed to the track, giving life to a song with diverse facets.
The fourth track, "My Life," has a contagious transition with a delightful energy. The listener simply doesn't easily perceive the passage from the third to the fourth track, with an epic transition marked by soul, a bass that moves our bodies, and vocals that bring the pop universe. This makes us enter into exhilarating waves, intensifying as the music progresses.
"Speak To Me" is the fifth track, with a disconcerting guitar riff that evokes the vibe of the 90s and 2000s. This track surprises us with its scream nu-metal sound, featuring guitar riffs that carry the music's energy and vocals that ignite and explode with power, making us sing along.
The seventh song, "Soldiers," has a strong, striking sound with an incredible connection between the guitar lines, bringing a rock edge, and the bass, which brings jazz influences. This is fascinating and elevates the track, with the vocals delivering fast and vibrant rhymes, blowing our minds and making us wave our hands in the air.
"The New Song" is the ninth track, a completely fluid hip-hop piece. We feel the soul vibe, something retro and classic in this track that moves our bodies. We are swept away on an electrifying yet completely smooth wave, with an infectious sound; we simply close our eyes and let this atmosphere relax and relieve the tension, oppression, and weight we carry on our shoulders.
The new album surprises and captivates us with a blend of different genres that break down barriers. Listeners are taken on a journey that departs from comfort and explores sounds we rarely hear, spaces we rarely visit, and incredible energy.
