A talentosa cantora e compositora Norine Braun acaba de nos dar um delicioso presente, seu novo álbum de folk, um trabalho doce, inspirador e cheio de intensidade, uma disco que traz muita energia e que nos conquista e envolve.

A cantora e compositora de Vancouver, Norine Braun, lança A Hero In The Wind em 7 de novembro de 2025, um álbum de raízes comovente gravado de uma maneira extraordinária — cada faixa concluída ao vivo em apenas uma hora durante as sessões pop-up do Henhouse de Steve Dawson.

A  primeira faixa é a música que da nome ao álbum, e essa já chega contando uma história que nos emociona junto de seu ritmo sensível e doce,  escrita para homenagear o pai biológico de Braun, essa canção reflete temas de amor, herança e resiliência, misturando folk, blues e soul com uma força emocional crua. Com a participação de Dawson e uma banda estelar de Vancouver, as sessões capturam a espontaneidade e a essência da música feita totalmente no momento. Essa faixa é muito bonita e desperta totalmente nossa curiosidade de ouvir o restante do disco, uma excelente maneira de abrir o álbum.

Just One Night é a segunda música, ela traz um clima de folk pop bastante interessante e bem feito, ela tem um frescor noturno e nos faz pensar em amor, ela é muito gostosa de ouvir e os vocais conseguem passar exatamente o que a música deseja, essa faixa tem magia e consegue nos levar um pouquinho para as sonoridades do pop nacional dos anos noventa, essa faixa é incrível, cheia de intensidade e muito linda, ela é uma faixa feita para nos trazer um momento de pausa, de reflexão, de nos deixar levar.

A terceira canção chega com um ritmo bastante animado, gostosa de ouvir, alto astral, cheia de sonoridades que criam cenários em nossa mente, que nos tiram de nossa mente para viajar para cneas que se criam em nossa mente, uma música que tem energia e que consegue nos trazer nostalgia, uma canção folk que tem uma pegadinha de Blues, é ousada, tem uma guitarra que chama a atenção e que entrega autenticidade, é simplesmente divertida e gostosa de ouvir, e também é amor a primeira ouvida, muito boa para cantarmos junto de Norine. 

East Van Crossing é a quarta canção, folk que narra uma história, é tão bom poder mergulhar na letra dessa canção e se deixar levar, ela tem uma guitarra muito gostosa de ouvir, que nos embala e que é criativa, ela traz vocais que são leves e Norine vai muito bem na afinação que e na presença que entrega nessa faixa, essa canção tem um refrão que pega e logo estamos cantando junto, ela é fresca e traz uma brisa em um dia de verão, ela é do tipo que nos arranca um sorriso, um suspiro, ao qual a gente se entrega e relaxa, amamos conhecer essa canção.

Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Norine Braun releases *A Hero In The Wind* on November 7, 2025, a poignant roots album recorded in an extraordinary way—each track completed live in just one hour during Steve Dawson's Henhouse pop-up sessions.

The first track is the title track, and it tells a moving story with its sensitive and sweet rhythm. Written to honor Braun's biological father, this song reflects themes of love, heritage, and resilience, blending folk, blues, and soul with raw emotional force. Featuring Dawson and a stellar Vancouver band, the sessions capture the spontaneity and essence of music made entirely in the moment. This track is very beautiful and completely sparks our curiosity to listen to the rest of the album; an excellent way to open the album.

"Just One Night" is the second song; it has a very interesting and well-done folk-pop vibe. It has a nocturnal freshness and makes us think about love. It's very pleasant to listen to, and the vocals manage to convey exactly what the song intends. This track has magic and manages to take us a little to the sounds of Brazilian pop from the nineties. This track is incredible, full of intensity and very beautiful; it's a track made to bring us a moment of pause, of reflection, of letting ourselves go.

The third song arrives with a very lively rhythm, pleasant to listen to, upbeat, full of sounds that create scenarios in our minds, that take us out of our minds to travel to scenes that are created in our minds, a song that has energy and manages to bring us nostalgia, a folk song that has a touch of Blues, it's daring, it has a guitar that draws attention and delivers authenticity, it's simply fun and enjoyable to listen to, and it's also love at first listen, very good for singing along with Norine.

East Van Crossing is the fourth song, a folk song that tells a story. It's so good to be able to immerse yourself in the lyrics and let yourself be carried away. It has a very pleasant guitar that is both soothing and creative. The vocals are light, and Norine delivers excellent vocals, both in pitch and presence. The song has a catchy chorus, and you'll soon be singing along. It's fresh and brings a breeze on a summer's day; it's the kind of song that makes you smile, sigh, and relax. We loved getting to know this song.
