Lo Rays lança novo single "Scapegoat (Master)" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "27 Club" e "Freak".
O trio pop-metal de Glasgow, Lo Rays, retorna com “Scapegoat”, seu single mais pesado e ambicioso até o momento. Misturando sintetizadores com glitches, refrões pop impactantes e riffs de metal afiados como navalha, a banda canaliza uma estética cyberpunk com toques pós-apocalípticos que vem lhes rendendo grande impulso na cena alternativa do Reino Unido. Eles são formados por: Laura Takala – vocal; Scott Bathgate – guitarra; Murray Bartle – bateria; Ryan Jones – baixo.
"Scapegoat (Master)" inicia com um ambiente que capta nossa atenção, a guitarra entra após batidas cativantes, uma introdução que conecta a gente fortemente. A guitarra incendeia, criando uma atmosfera que nos leva a um estado eufórico dentro do metal.
"Scapegoat" tem transições implacáveis, um som que tem uma energia que explode em nossas veias, fazendo jorrar adrenalina. Na primeira parte acumula energia, em um ambiente marcado pelas batidas e pelo vocal mais suave da vocalista, que quando vai para o refrão, a atmosfera se transforma e nos faz vibrar, fazendo a gente cantar junto. Em um refrão mais comercial e que gruda facilmente em nossa mente, a faixa apresenta na sequência transições.
Lo Rays alterna entre momentos mais suaves e delicados e outros que usa o estilo vocal gutural, com muita raiva e poder, a faixa faz a gente arrepiar por dentro, vibrar, e tem um instrumental que faz muito baralho, em um universo onde as batidas abalam a gente por dentro e a guitarra nos rasga, com o baixo ditando o tom, e a transição ocorre onde a vocalista solta a voz e o ápice do metal ocorre, o caos chega em "Scapegoat" antecipando o último refrão, onde nossa catarse ocorre.

The Glasgow pop-metal trio, Lo Rays, returns with "Scapegoat," their heaviest and most ambitious single to date. Mixing synthesizers with glitches, impactful pop choruses, and razor-sharp metal riffs, the band channels a cyberpunk aesthetic with post-apocalyptic touches that has been gaining significant momentum in the UK alternative scene. They are formed by: Laura Takala – vocals; Scott Bathgate – guitar; Murray Bartle – drums; Ryan Jones – bass.
"Scapegoat (Master)" begins with an atmosphere that captures our attention; the guitar enters after captivating beats, an introduction that strongly connects us. The guitar ignites, creating an atmosphere that leads us to a euphoric state within the metal.
"Scapegoat" has relentless transitions, a sound with an energy that explodes in our veins, creating a huge adrenaline rush. The first part builds energy, in an atmosphere marked by the beats and the vocalist's softer vocals, which, when it reaches the chorus, transforms the atmosphere and makes us vibrate, making us sing along. In a more commercial chorus that easily sticks in our minds, the track presents a sequence of transitions.
Lo Rays alternates between softer, more delicate moments and others that use a guttural vocal style, with a lot of anger and power.
