Autonym releases its new single, "Not Today," its fifth release this year. Previously, they released the EPs "The Home Sessions, Vol. 1" and "Two Worlds."
This monstrous quartet brings a thunderous sound and impactful energy that will have you moving with every note. With a new full-length album currently in production, there will surely be more massive songs, ready to make even bigger waves. The new album tells a gripping story from two completely different perspectives: the "Hunted" and the "Huntress." On both sides of the coin, the opposing vocal lines skillfully build a sense of desire to stay alive, as the hunted character desperately seeks to escape an unseen threat, begging for safety and a chance to survive. And then, the hunter's frenetic urgency and paranoia, hungry for chaos and clarity of mind. On the other hand, "Hunter" delves into the stalker's chilling mindset, recognizing his own dark path with chilling determination and acceptance of his fate. This duality creates a truly captivating narrative, exploring themes of despair, consequences, and the blurring lines between right and wrong.
