Seasonal Falls lança novo EP "Fun Crumbles" sendo o terceiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Mary Wants To Marry Me" e "The End".
Musicalmente, "Fun Crumbles" é um indie pop rock levemente nostálgico, com influências dos anos 90, com reviravoltas inesperadas. Liricamente, aborda o envelhecimento, a vida familiar e a nostalgia. Mas, no fundo, o EP é simplesmente sobre espalhar um pouco de alegria e diversão. "Fun Crumbles" chega com 5 faixas que são incríveis, levando nossa mente a um estado que fica levitando entre o suave, pop folk e de repente chega algo mais rock.
É exatamente isso que acontece em "Quiet Days" que tem som de violão, acordes suaves que relaxam a gente, com sons de pássaros ao fundo na tapeçaria até mais folk, de repente surge riffs de guitarra eletrizantes, trazendo algo do rock anos 90, o vocal traz essa diferença de ambiente, levando a faixa conforme quer e entregando vibração quando a musical explode.
"I Should Be Sad But I Am Not" é a segunda faixa, que traz toda energia logo em sua introdução, com riffs marcantes, que fazem a gente querer pegar o carro, ligar o rádio no volume mais alto e tocar essa faixa em uma estrada. Nostálgica, lembra os anos 90 e 2000, familiar para quem cresceu ouvindo o rock dessa época, uma rapidamente estamos cantando no refrão com o título da faixa.
"A Year Without Beer" traz elementos mais clássicos em seu início, em algo dos anos 70, a faixa tem batidas que são cativantes, riffs nas transições e o baixo bastante presente. O vocal nos contagia em seu estilo suave, despreocupado, criando uma atmosfera envolvente em sua leveza, fazendo a gente sentir o instrumental bem forte em nosso corpo.
"Australia" tem algo mais folk no meio desse rock, com a entrada de guitarra que traz um refrão mais forte e envolvente, uma balada que traz a nostalgia da Austrália, uma lembrança. O que surpreende são os riffs de guitarra que nos desconcerta em trecho de transição, um som mágico que não sabemos como vai se desenvolver e sentimos ela incendiar nossas veias.
"All Alone" traz uma melancolia em seu início, com o vocal mais introspectivo, a faixa nos lembra algo de Pink Floyd, uma canção rock que explora um lado psicodélico, faz nossa mente flutuar para longe, a canção nos conquista e rapidamente fechamos os olhos, na caída da noite, abrimos um vinho e estamos deixando Seasonal Falls tomar o ambiente, com uma letra profunda e que comunica com a gente. De repente a canção se transforma, com transição com saxofone, a faixa agita e perde toda a melancolia.
O novo EP se destaca nesse sentido, com canções que tem essa versatilidade de começar de alguma forma e terminar de outro jeito, somos contagiados nesse trabalho muito bem feito, construído e sonoridade que conquista o ouvinte.

Seasonal Falls releases its new EP, "Fun Crumbles," its third release this year. Previously, the singles "Mary Wants To Marry Me" and "The End" had already been released.
Musically, "Fun Crumbles" is a slightly nostalgic indie pop rock song with 90s influences and unexpected twists. Lyrically, it addresses aging, family life, and nostalgia. But, at its core, the EP is simply about spreading a little joy and fun. "Fun Crumbles" arrives with five incredible tracks, taking our minds to a state that levitates between soft, folky pop and suddenly something more rock-y.
That's exactly what happens in "Quiet Days," which features acoustic guitar sounds, soft chords that relax us, and bird calls in the background, even more folky. Suddenly, electrifying guitar riffs emerge, bringing a touch of '90s rock. The vocals bring this difference in ambience, taking a track as it pleases and delivering the vibe of a musical explosion.
"I Should Be Sad But I Am Not" is the second track, which packs a punch right from its intro, with striking riffs that make us want to get in the car, turn the radio up loud, and blast this track on the road. Nostalgic, reminiscent of the '90s and '00s, familiar to those who grew up listening to rock from that era, we're quickly singing along to the chorus with the track's title.
"A Year Without Beer" has more classic elements in its beginning, reminiscent of the '70s. The track has catchy beats, riffs in the transitions, and a very present bass. The vocals captivate us with their soft, carefree style, creating an immersive atmosphere in their lightness, making us feel the instrumental powerfully in our bodies.
"Australia" has a more folky feel to it, with the guitar intro that brings a stronger, more engaging chorus, a ballad that evokes nostalgia for Australia, a memory. What's surprising are the guitar riffs that unsettle us in the transition, a magical sound that we don't know how it will develop, yet we feel it ignite our veins.
"All Alone" has a melancholy beginning, with more introspective vocals. The track reminds us of something by Pink Floyd, a rock song that explores a psychedelic side, making our minds float away. The song captivates us, and we quickly close our eyes. As night falls, we open a bottle of wine and let Seasonal Falls take over, with profound lyrics that resonate with us. Suddenly, the song transforms, with a saxophone transition, the track becomes more upbeat and loses all its melancholy.
The new EP stands out in this regard, with songs that have this intimate feeling of starting one way and ending another. We're captivated by this well-crafted work, constructed with a sound that captivates the listener.
