Influenced by Nick Shoulder's album "Home on the Rage," "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed," "Something Blue" is the name of Mahto's new EP, which sought to create a collection of songs that embody simplicity and openness. Each track on the EP reflects the concept of something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue, demonstrating Mahto's ability to create raw and honest expressions without overthinking. Recorded in Mahto's home studio throughout 2024, this release captures the essence of his musical journey, offering listeners an intimate, unfiltered experience that sets Mahto & The Loose Balloons apart in the music scene.

The first track already shows us what this album is all about: a sweet, well-crafted folk album that moves us and fills us with sensations. This track brings lightness to our day, connects us to our soul and our heart, and finally brings us a folk style that resonates and resonates with us as individuals. We loved the opening track, "Parking Lots."
