Arnab Sengupta lança novo álbum "What Goes Around Comes Around" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o single "The Greatest Endower" no ano passado.
"What Goes Around Comes Around" é o quinto álbum de estúdio do cantor, compositor e multi-instrumentista Arnab Sengupta, uma obra profundamente introspectiva e com influências do jazz que explora a resiliência emocional, a autoanálise silenciosa e o tipo de verdades às quais só chegamos por meio da experiência vivida. Enraizadas nas texturas do jazz, do swing e do soul, estas oito músicas originais são menos sobre espetáculo e mais sobre quietude, o tipo de escrita que não exige atenção, mas a recompensa. A canção aquece os corações aquela faixa para ouvir em sua própria companhia para relaxar a noite.
"What Goes Around Comes Around" homônimo do álbum, é a terceira faixa, uma canção viva, com piano mais acelerado em suas teclas, batidas discretas e o vocal já surge cantando o nome da faixa. A canção é difícil para encaixar em um gênero apenas, é solta, cresce para onde quiser, tem o jazz como base, mas faz a gente ir para ambientes sonoros como o rock ou pop, algo que contagia ainda mais com o som de saxofone que nos encanta e a faixa tem mudança de ritmos que são surpreendentes.
"Windmills of the Mind" é a quinta faixa, nos encanta com sua introdução suave e leve, fazendo nossa mente flutuar para longe, como sugere o nome da faixa. A canção tem a intensidade do vocal que nos envolve fortemente e a suavidade da sonoridade que traz uma harmonia perfeita para os ouvintes. A canção é incrível para tornar a noite especial, descontraída e ao mesmo tempo tem uma elegância para ter aquele jantar com alguém especial, com uma letra profunda e reflexiva de auto descoberta.

A canção finaliza o álbum no mais alto nível do jazz e contagia os ouvintes com uma aventura sonora que desperta as emoções mais profundas, intensos, com uma pegada de música world, é uma faixa cultural que se torna global, agitando as noites dos amantes de jazz.

"What Goes Around Comes Around" is the fifth studio album from singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Arnab Sengupta, a deeply introspective and jazz-influenced work that explores emotional resilience, quiet self-analysis and the kind of truths that can only be reached through lived experience. Rooted in the textures of jazz, swing and soul, these eight original songs are less about spectacle and more about stillness, the kind of writing that doesn't demand attention, but rewards it. Each track is crafted with lyrical sensitivity, harmonic depth and compositional nuance, carried by Arnab's soft yet assured vocal presence.
With contributions from a stellar international ensemble including Yoshiki Yamada (bass), Bruno Werner (drums), Wagner Barbosa (saxophone), Rafael Bissacot (guitar/production), Guilherme Andrades (flute), the album is a mature and quietly powerful offering from an artist who has spent decades honing his voice, both musically and philosophically.
