WaleM lança novo EP 'Turbo Tonnerre' sendo o primeiro grande trabalho lançado pela banda. Antes, havia sido lançado alguns singles que fazem parte do novo EP.
Com um som genial dentro de um rock progressivo, acústico, algo que nos leva com um som autêntico que faz lembrar de influências dos anos 90, a banda nos conquista com riffs marcantes e batidas que agitam a gente e também mudanças de ritmo que nos surpreende. Vamos conferir esse EP de 4 faixas.
Para começar, tem a primeira canção '(Odd) Perspective' que tem uma introdução com violão bem gostosa de ouvir, sentimos a música crescer com a entrada da vocal, que é cativante com um timbre honesto e profundo. Entram as batidas e a música cresce com cordas que fazem o arranjo ao fundo e então estamos de repente rendidos a canção quando atinge o refrão. O baixo é brilhante, arrebatando a gente.
A segunda faixa 'Black Midi' é completamente surpreendente. Com ambientes diferentes, a primeira parte faz a gente flutuar tocando com riffs suaves e o toque de saxofone, tornando o rock bem versátil pelo instrumental. De repente, a música se transforma em um rock vibrante e dançante com riffs que incendeiam a gente. Em 5:15 minutos, ouvimos de tudo, para sintetizar um jazz rock que é fulminante.
A terceira canção 'Turbo Tonnerre' tem o nome do EP, com um começo que lembra grunge e metal, aos poucos a música cresce com um toque de saxofone, carregando o ar de mistério sobre como o instrumental vai se desenvolver. Não sabemos como vai parar, para onde vai. É uma caixa de surpresas. Após 2 minutos, a vocalista entra na faixa com uma sequência cativante do baixo e guitarra que toca nas transições. A vocalista traz uma forma de cantar cinemática e teatral que é bem forte e envolvente, ao mesmo tempo em uma faixa mais sombria.
Sem muito spoiler, a quarta faixa 'Rtfm' finaliza o EP, em um rock que é fenomenal pois sai da mesmice e nos conquista com sua autenticidade e instrumental que é de tirar o fôlego.
O novo EP está sensacional e mostra que WaleM chega para representar o rock com toda sua vibração e poder de criação sonora, as vezes fazendo queimar nossas veias e trazendo fúria na guitarra, baixo e bateria, outras vezes em um som que leva nossa mente para longe.

WaleM releases new EP 'Turbo Tonnerre' being the first major work released by the band. Previously, some singles that are part of the new EP had already been released.
With a brilliant sound within progressive, acoustic rock, something that takes us to an authentic sound that recalls influences from the 90s, the band wins us over with striking riffs and beats that shake us and also rhythm changes that surprise us. Let's check out this 4-track EP.
To begin with, there's the first song '(Odd) Perspective' which has a very cool guitar introduction, we feel the song grow with the entry of the vocals, which is captivating with an honest and deep timbre. The beats come in and the song grows with strings that provide the background arrangement and suddenly we are surrendered to the song when it reaches the chorus. The bass is brilliant, sweeping us away.
The second track 'Black Midi' is completely surprising. With different environments, the first part makes us float, playing with soft riffs and the touch of the saxophone, making rock very versatile through the instrumental. Suddenly, the song turns into vibrant, danceable rock, with riffs that set us on fire. In 5:15 minutes we hear everything, to synthesize a fulminating jazz rock.
The third song 'Turbo Tonnerre' takes the name of the EP, with a beginning reminiscent of grunge and metal, little by little the song grows with a touch of saxophone, carrying an air of mystery about how the instrumental will develop. We don't know how this will end, where it will go. It's a box of surprises. After 2 minutes, the vocalist enters the track with a captivating bass and guitar sequence that she plays in transitions. The vocalist brings a cinematic and theatrical way of singing that is very strong and engaging, at the same time in a darker tone.
Without too many spoilers, the fourth track 'Rtfm' closes the EP, in a rock that is phenomenal as it breaks with the sameness and wins us over with its authenticity and breathtaking instrumentals.
The new EP is sensational and shows that WaleM arrives to represent rock with all its vibration and power of sound creation, sometimes making our veins burn and bringing fury on the guitar, bass and drums, sometimes in a sound that takes us far. absent.
