"Searing Light" é uma música explosiva sobre catarse, deixando a escuridão em favor de uma luz ardente. Caminhar na luz é edificante e avassalador, mas também pode significar tanto a morte quanto a vida. É neste espaço de tensão que encontramos "Searing Light", onde a luz pode significar escuridão, e a escuridão pode significar luz. Um pouco perigoso, claro.

The Holy Mountain releases new single "Searing Light" being the second work released this year. Previously, the single "Remains Unsaid" had been released.
"Searing Light" is an explosive song about catharsis, leaving darkness in favor of a burning light. Walking in the light is uplifting and overwhelming, but it can also mean both death and life. It is in this space of tension that we find "Searing Light", where light can mean darkness, and darkness can mean light. A little dangerous, of course.
This theme is often found in the sacred music, musical material and grandeur that had a great influence on the composition and production of Searing Light. Holy Mountain's unique instrumentation is elevated to a new level as the musical intensity is increased even further in melodic rhythm, well supported by the intricate rhythms and Catharina Janner Røed's mesmerizing, soaring vocals.
"Searing Light" takes us on a journey through time in a timeless sound, which manages to bring something avant garden, futuristic, electrifying with the background arrangement that grows and at the same time brings us the 80s vibe with the synthesizer that is brilliant, we got ourselves dancing.
