Sobre a canção a artista conta: " Eu a escrevi no verão de 2019 e gravei no Edge Studios em 15 de dezembro de 2022 com a produtora altamente qualificada Georgia Fullalove. Enquanto isso, eu estava trabalhando nos lançamentos da minha banda e esperando o momento certo para apresentar meu primeiro single acústico. A música é sobre sentir que você foi repetidamente levado cegamente a situações vulneráveis. Mas também se trata do instinto de sobrevivência de implorar por alguma bondade divina para salvá-lo das garras de seu perseguidor. No momento culminante, a letra é: 'Leve-me para onde os pássaros ainda cantam / Onde as ervas daninhas não crescem nas coisas bonitas' ('Leve-me para onde os pássaros ainda cantam' é o nome do meu último EP)."
