ZEN BUNNY COLLECTIVE lança o novo sinle "Funky America 9/38", uma canção que traz o retrato social da América e o sentimento que o cidadão traz nesse ano tão importante para eles. A sensação é de decepção e um estado cético na mídia, sociedade, tv e política.
Forjado no volátil underground de Paris durante as revoltas estudantis da década de 1960, o Zen Bunny Collective é um amálgama mundial de artistas visuais, literários, musicais e trapezistas cujos princípios são derivados dos antigos escritos sumérios de Enmerkar, rei de Uruk que viveu em o final do 4º milênio a.C. Suas palavras de ordem (tradução latina do cuneiforme) eram "Mori pro arte occidere pro arte", e após a introdução no Coletivo, todos os membros fazem um juramento solene de cumpri-las. Funky America 9/38 foi escrita e gravada como parte do projeto deste ano (2023) – “Chaos Before the Void” - A Dirge of Hope in Twelve Parts. O trabalho deste ano foi criado usando apenas materiais reciclados e sustentáveis e apresenta artistas performáticos Aborígenes Kamikaze que assumiram o compromisso de deixar o planeta em vez de participar do caos industrial do século 21 e da ganância capitalista descontrolada. Na primavera de 2024, um Memorial Cricket Test está planejado para ser realizado para beneficiar tanto o músico famílias e a foca-monge havaiana.
"Funky America 9/38" chega com uma melodia forte e impactante, com o clássico som que nos leva aos anos 60, ao blues, soul e rock clássico. Para quem mantém o lado verdadeiro do ceticismo, os olhos bem abertos, isso resulta em um questionamento e depois na incredulidade do sistema. O americano sempre teve essa identidade de ser cético, impressionante o que tem acontecido nas últimas décadas na maior democracia do mundo.
"Funky America 9/38" é um protesto, um grito contra tudo de errado, um pedido para atenção a quem realmente merece na parte social. Com riffs suaves, uma melodia incrível que traz um rock clássico nas batidas leves, uma canção que flui levemente em nosso corpo, é algo que lembra "Riders On The Storm" de The Doors. Para o amante de influências americanas e alo clássico, tem aqui um novo hino atemporal. Seria muito legal poder ouvir isso daqui uns 50 anos e provavelmente ainda vai soar tão atual quanto hoje.

ZEN BUNNY COLLECTIVE launches the new song "Funky America 9/38", a song that brings the social portrait of America and the feeling that citizens bring in this year that is so important for them. The feeling is one of disappointment and a skeptical state in the media, society, TV and politics.
Forged in the volatile Paris underground during the student uprisings of the 1960s, the Zen Bunny Collective is a worldwide amalgam of visual, literary, musical and trapeze artists whose principles are derived from the ancient Sumerian writings of Enmerkar, king of Uruk who lived in the end of the 4th millennium BC Its slogans (Latin translation from cuneiform) were "Mori pro arte occidere pro arte", and upon induction into the Collective, all members take a solemn oath to fulfill them. Funky America 9/38 was written and recorded as part of this year’s (2023) project – “Chaos Before the Void” - A Dirge of Hope in Twelve Parts. This year's work was created using only recycled and sustainable materials and features Aboriginal Kamikaze performance artists who have made a commitment to leave the planet rather than participate in 21st century industrial chaos and unchecked capitalist greed. In spring 2024, a Memorial Cricket Test is planned to be held to benefit both the musician families and the Hawaiian monk seal.
"Funky America 9/38" arrives with a strong and impactful melody, with the classic sound that takes us to the 60s, blues, soul and classic rock. With a man singing, with his powerful and solid voice, we feel confidence in him like a grandfather telling us a story and then we travel in wisdom and in this jovial feeling of protest trapped in a long life lived so far.
According to the words, America is smelling like a swamp, with dirt coming from the elite, with crazy economic plans to print money and all the obscurity behind the political plans for the nation. For those who maintain the true side of skepticism, their eyes wide open, this results in questioning and then disbelief in the system. Americans have always had this identity of being skeptical, which is impressive what has happened in recent decades in the largest democracy in the world.
"Funky America 9/38" is a protest, a cry against everything wrong, a request for attention to those who really deserve it on a social level. With smooth riffs, an incredible melody that brings classic rock to the light beats, a song that flows lightly in our body, it's something reminiscent of "Riders On The Storm" by The Doors. For the lover of American influences and classicism, here is a new timeless anthem. It would be really cool to be able to hear this in 50 years and it will probably still sound as current as it does today.
