"The Gloaming" é o novo single de rock da banda holandesa de rock alternativo The Arthurs. Esse é o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o álbum "Glass" em 2021. The Gloaming é o primeiro single do terceiro álbum, que a banda está gravando atualmente.
Seus dois primeiros álbuns, When I'm Sane (2017) e Glass (2021), foram bem recebidos nacional e internacionalmente. A banda tocou em palcos e festivais renomados na Holanda e foi banda de abertura das lendárias bandas inglesas The Subways e Fischer-Z. A banda também fez shows na Inglaterra e na Bélgica.
Influências de bandas como Nirvana, Pixies, Radiohead, The Smiths e The Doors podem ser ouvidas na música dos Arthurs. Porém, a banda se diferencia pelo estilo e sonoridade próprios. Suas músicas são variadas e melódicas: ora altas, cruas e raivosas, ora calmas, melancólicas, sonhadoras e até psicodélicas.
"The Gloaming" inicia com riffs que parecem estar bem distantes e então chegam em nossos ouvidos, logo na sequência entram batidas vibrantes de bateria com um riff de guitarra que incendeia os ouvintes, somos teletransportados para os anos 90 com uma pegada futurista para a época. Com um vocal introspectivo cheio de mistério, nas transições levantam a atmosfera da faixa com muita energia no vocal.
O solo instrumental é versátil, extremamente contagiante, a faixa tem uma mudança de ritmo, ficando crescente no decorrer da canção, é genial essas mudanças de diração da canção e então volta a ficar agitada novamente. É o tipo de canção que estaria facilmente em um filme de terror suspense adolescente do final dos anos 90 e começo dos anos 2000.
"The Gloaming" é arrepiante perto do final, flui em nossa veias e então entramos na canção, uma faixa para os amantes de um rock and roll ao estilo grunge, para a guitarra nos deixar loucos e intensos, com um solo insano arrebatador que conquista os ouvintes.

"The Gloaming" is the new rock single from Dutch alternative rock band The Arthurs. This is the first work released this year. Previously, the album "Glass" was released in 2021. The Gloaming is the first single from the third album, which the band is currently recording.

With an introspective vocal full of mystery, the transitions lift the atmosphere of the track with a lot of energy in the vocals.
The instrumental solo is versatile, extremely contagious, the track has a change of rhythm, increasing throughout the song, these changes in direction of the song are brilliant and then it becomes agitated again. It's the kind of song that would easily be in a teen horror thriller film from the late 90s and early 2000s.
"The Gloaming" is chilling towards the end, it flows through our veins and then we enter the song, a track for lovers of grunge-style rock and roll, for the guitar to make us crazy and intense, with an insane sweeping solo that conquers the listeners.
