Slowklahoma lança o novo single 'Dog Days' sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano, não só isso, mas o trabalho debute da banda.
"Dog Days", o primeiro single da banda indie residente em Colônia, Slowklahoma, gira em torno de várias coisas: teorias da conspiração em torno de Andy Kaufman, esquisitos incompreendidos nativos das músicas de Belle & Sebastian e playgrounds em meio ao calor do verão, mas o mais importante: sobre desperdiçar seu tempo em espera. Envolta em um toque cativante e alimentada apenas com os sons locais mais surfistas de pessoas que só conseguem imaginar como é viver à beira-mar, essa música é definitivamente uma forte candidata ao hit de verão mais fora de temporada!
O novo trabalho tem um estilo anos 90 que é genial, um surf rock, rock de garagem e indie, que nos cativa fazendo flutuar em acordes distorcidos e que eletrizam a gente por dentro. Um dueto, com o vocal grave e sólido que é uma genialidade, cheio de referências a cultura pop e ainda um instrumental forte, com um solo de guitarra que é contagiante.
"Dog Days" tem um vídeoclipe que é pensado na ideia como se fosse um jornal, com notícias sendo cantadas por parte dos vocais, como se estivéssemos assistindo aquele jornal pela manhã. Slowklahoma releases the new single 'Dog Days' being the first work released this year, not only that, but the band's debut work.
"Dog Days", the first single from Cologne-based indie band Slowklahoma, revolves around several things: conspiracy theories surrounding Andy Kaufman, misunderstood weirdos native to Belle & Sebastian's songs, and playgrounds amid the summer heat , but most importantly: about wasting your time waiting. Wrapped in a catchy twist and fueled by only the surfiest local sounds of people who can only imagine what it's like to live by the sea, this song is definitely a strong contender for the most off-season summer hit!
The new work has a 90s style that is brilliant, surf rock, garage rock and indie, which captivates us by floating on distorted chords and electrifying us inside. A duet, with a serious and solid vocal that is genius, full of references to pop culture and a strong instrumental, with a guitar solo that is infectious.
"Dog Days" has a music video that is designed as if it were a newspaper, with news being sung by the vocals, as if we were watching that newspaper in the morning.
