CAM WILSON lança o novo EP "The Time EP" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o single "Best of It" e em 2022 "Where Will We Be".
Em um trabalho debute EP de Cam Wilson, podemos mergulhar em uma composição independente, livre de interesses da indústria musical, um folk diríamos virgem e puro, honesto, que é capaz de soar como uma terapia para nossa mente.
"The Time" inicia com a primeira faixa "Time" que traz um som completamente suave, para limpar a mente e se conectar ao interior, ao que temos por dentro e refletir sobre o tempo. Tempo é relativo, a vida é curta mas é a coisa mais longa que podemos fazer. Com o vocal que é marcante, algo que nos lembra Jack Johnson, somos levados nessa vibe que nos traz conforto em um ambiente agradável e folk, para começar o EP com tudo.
A segunda canção "Forever Dreaming" tem uma introdução que é bem profunda, podemos ouvir as trocas dos acordes em um som intimista, simples, mas que nos faz ir juntos nessa. O vocal leva a faixa conforme ele quer, em uma canção que retrata uma mente que está sempre sonhando e planejando sobre onde quer estar. Uma canção que é bem próxima a todos, fácil de ouvir e gostosa, é forte e marcante, em um ambiente mais introspectivo pelo som dos acordes e o vocal de Cam se destaca criando altos e baixos e nos passando uma tapeçaria meio folk pop, que vai crscendo e ficando cada vez mais empolgante ouvir essa faixa.
A terceira faixa "Between The Vines (Interlude)" é uma canção de transição, preparando o terreno sonoro com batidas ocas que soa como batimento cardíaco. Indo para a última canção em uma transição que nos aprofunda em "Best Of It", de repente surge um toque diversificado de acordes que nos contagia que cria uma atmosfera como de um filme teen de romance dramático, uma faixa folk poderosa, que nos conquista pela genialidade de conciliar riffs de violão que são constantes ao fundo, um arranjo que nos envolve e somos rendidos pelo vocal profundo, autêntico, que cria vida para a faixa, fazendo nossos sentimentos ficarem expostos nesse ambiente emotivo e mágico. O refrão é único, com falsete que aquece a gente por dentro, é como se tivéssemos ouvido essa faixa a vida toda.
O EP "The Time EP" é incrível, nos deixa ansiosos por mais lançamentos como esse, em um mundo sonoro quese torna ambíguo para interpretação. Tudo que posso imaginar é sair e aproveitar a natureza, acampar, dormir em um monte, ver as estrelas ser esquentado por uma fogueira, desfrutar de coisas grandiosas da vida que são naturais ao som dessa obra folk de CAM WILSON.

CAM WILSON releases the new EP "The Time EP" being the first work released this year. Previously, the single "Best of It" had been released and in 2022 "Where Will We Be".
In Cam Wilson's debut EP, we can dive into an independent composition, free from the interests of the music industry, a folk that we would say is virgin and pure, honest, which is capable of sounding like therapy for our mind.
"The Time" begins with the first track "Time" which brings a completely soft sound, to clear the mind and connect to the interior, to what we have inside and reflect on time. Time is relative, life is short but it is the longest thing we can do. With the vocal that is striking, something that reminds us of Jack Johnson, we are taken into this vibe that brings us comfort in a pleasant and folky environment, to start the EP with everything.
The second song "Forever Dreaming" has a very deep introduction, we can hear the chord changes in an intimate, simple sound, but that makes us go together. The vocal takes the track as he wants, in a song that portrays a mind that is always dreaming and planning about where it wants to be. A song that is very close to everyone, easy to listen to and delicious, it is strong and striking, in a more introspective environment due to the sound of the chords and Cam's vocal stands out, creating highs and lows and giving us a kind of folk pop tapestry, which It grows and becomes more and more exciting to listen to this track.
The third track "Between The Vines (Interlude)" is a transitional song, laying the groundwork with hollow beats that sound like a heartbeat. All I can imagine is going out and enjoying nature, camping, sleeping on a hill, watching the stars while being warmed by a fire, enjoying the great things in life that are natural to the sound of this folk work by CAM WILSON.
