Bones In Butter lança novo álbum 'Songs For A Sane Society' sendo o segundo trabalho do tipo lançado pela banda. Em seu repertório conta com o álbum 'Love Or Fear' de 2020. Antes, havia sido lançado o single 'Scenes From The Metro'.
O novo álbum chega com 14 faixas, um rock que tem aquele pop dos anos 80, nos faz ter uma viagem no tempo nesse estilo atemporal, poderíamos imaginar The Smiths, U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, mas com certeza foge disso em algo novo, fresco e que nos faz pensar em nossa sociedade.
Tudo começa com a primeira faixa 'So Alone', que tem uma introdução em cima de riffs marcantes e batidas agitadas, com todo o clima dos anos 80, uma sonoridade gostosa de ouvir. Os ouvintes vão sentir a sólida e grave voz, introspectiva que trazem um mistério para a canção, em uma letra que nos isola do mundo. O solo instrumental é genial, psicodélico, com o backing vocal ao fundo, uma canção bem new wave punk rock.
'They Live!' é a terceira canção, com um clima mais rock and roll, riffs secos na primeira parte, vai crescendo na guitarra nesse punk rock e o vocal grave que nos leva na canção. Com um clima caótico, a canção deixa nossa mente girando, nos colocando dentro dessa temática conspiratória que 'Eles existem', uma faixa que faz o ouvinte sair do chão e pular junto com esse som estrondoso.
"A Dystopian Love Song" é a quarta faixa, com estilo retrô, inicia com o vocal que entra com qualidade, potência, o vocal que já conhecemos e amamos de Bones in Butter. As batidas entram, nem tão agitadas, com o baixo dando o ritmo para a música em sua melodia, as batidas é o corpo e a guitarra é o coração da canção, que da energia em alguns trechos de solo. O arranjo é gostoso de ouvir, com backing vocal feminino ao fundo, o que dá um contraponto para a canção. Com refrão animado, bem vivo, a música nos conquista desde o início, mostra Bones in Butter dispostos a sempre inovar.
"This Is Not What You Promised" é a quinta canção, post punk, é algo frio, obscuro e tudo isso graças a combinação da voz e os instrumentos da canção. "This Is Not What You Promised" já tem uma letra forte em seu próprio título, algo que leva ao pensamento de questionar algo que não foi conforme o prometido. Por si só, o título já mostra a cara da banda, uma banda que tem expressividade em suas letras.
A oitava canção "Stop Dancing Now" inicia com toque distorcido de guitarra e um backing vocal sombrio. O toque da guitarra ecoa de uma forma que entra na nossa mente e nos faz agitar por dentro. Na entrada dos outros instrumentos, tem um grito e inicia as batidas da bateria. É uma canção que o som instrumental é variado, entre baixo, bateria e guitarra, sentimos ambientes diferentes musicalmente falando. "Stop Dancing Now" o que eles nos traz é um som vivo, rock e post punk, eletrizante e cheio de efeitos especiais que tornam a música mais misteriosa e dark, com um solo fenomenal de guitarra nos eletrizando por dentro, bem dark pop rock.
A décima primeira faixa 'Down But Not Out' é fria, um rock and roll que na primeira parte é mais suave. Começa a crescer com uma melodia atemporal em uma mistura entre sintetizador e guitarra, criando um ambiente distorcido, desfocado com o vocal que contribui para isso, depois nos contagia com uma melodia que gruda em nossa mente. É muito gostoso poder ouvir esse hino atemporal.
"Scenes From The Metro" é a décima segunda faixa, tem todo um clima de cinema, um som espetacular que é profundo e crescente. O vocal é bem sólido, discreto, mas leva a música para onde quer. O backing vocal ao fundo faz um arranjo sensacional, nesse rock que tem influências do dream pop. "Scenes From The Metro" mostra Bones in Butter em um som psicodélico, ao estilo Pink Floyd e os anos 60 e 70, com batidas lentas e guitarra que deixa o ouvinte flutuando. O sintetizador utilizado aqui é sensacional, é uma versatilidade incrível e um ritmo que contagia em "Scenes From The Metro".
O álbum conta ainda com mais 2 faixas bônus, que chegam como um presente para os ouvintes. Bones In Butter releases new album 'Songs For according to A Sane Society' being the work of its kind released by the band. His repertoire includes the 2020 album 'Love Or Fear'. Previously, the single 'Scenes From The Metro' had been released.
The new album arrives with 14 tracks, a rock that has that 80s pop, makes us travel back in time in this timeless style, we imagine The Smiths, U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, but it certainly breaks away from that into something new, fresh and that makes us think about our society.
It all starts with the first track 'So Alone', which has an introduction over striking riffs and agitated beats, with all the atmosphere of the 80s, a pleasant sound to listen to. Listeners will feel a solid, deep, introspective voice that brings a mystery to the song, in lyrics that isolate us from the world. The instrumental solo is brilliant, psychedelic, with the backing vocals in the background, a very new wave punk rock song.
'They live!' It's the third song, with a more rock and roll atmosphere, dry riffs in the first part, the guitar grows in this punk rock and the serious vocals that take us through the song. With a chaotic atmosphere, the song leaves our mind spinning, placing us within this conspiratorial theme that 'They exist', a track that makes the listener leave the ground and jump along with this thunderous sound.
"A Dystopian Love Song" is the fourth track, with a retro style, it starts with the vocal that comes in with quality, power, the vocal we already know and love from Bones in Butter. The beats come in, not so hectic, with the bass giving the rhythm to the song in its melody, the beats are the body and the guitar is the heart of the song, which provides energy in some solo sections. The arrangement is pleasant to listen to, with female backing vocals in the background, which provides a counterpoint to the song. "Scenes From The Metro" is the twelfth track, it has a cinema atmosphere, a spectacular sound that is deep and growing. The vocal is very solid, discreet, but takes the song wherever it wants. The backing vocals in the background make a sensational arrangement, in this rock that has dream pop influences. "Scenes From The Metro" shows Bones in Butter in a psychedelic sound, in the style of Pink Floyd and the 60s and 70s, with slow beats and guitar that leaves the listener floating. The synthesizer used here is sensational, it has incredible versatility and a rhythm that is contagious in "Scenes From The Metro".
